I Love that even though Grams was upset that Wyatt was a boy and not a girl i'm glad she regretted it later on and apologized and accepted Wyatt in the end. Still Love Grams though.
Nah, if you really love someone you don't kidnap and hold them hostage, you don't force them do something against their principles and you don't threaten their family. It's more of obsession than love, probably mixed with a degree of some affection and lust of course

Mostly because Cole was hot and their story was dragged out for 2,5 seasons instead of one episode and because some STILL think that Cole was ''possessed'' by source instead of seeing it as a metaphor for their long-run incompatibility and him being weak for evil's influence... But yeah, storylines are not so different, maybe even showrunners introduced it specificaly to try and shut fans' whining over cole?

Piper said they would go foward without a wiccaning (witches christening). I've alway thought the was part of her desire for a normal life talking. She could've said they'll ask someone else to do it. Like maybe Melinda Warren. Until they've reconciled. Since Wyatt is the 1st male in the family, the summoning spell will have to b edited to call forth the matriarchs *and patriarchs.*
You are partially correct. Piper and Penny (Grams) were arguing over the fact that Wyatt is a boy and not a girl. Until him, the Haliwell line has always been women (starting with Melinda Warren). Grams doesn't trust men (for serval reasons) and believes that they will hurt them (the girls and the family). They take advantage of them (the family), the possible exception being Leo due to him being an "Angel" (Whitelighter). Grams feels that Wyatt will be corrupted by his powers and wind up doing the same thing. What the clips from this episode don't show is the above conversation and Piper makes that statement because she feels that Grams has no love for Wyatt, and therefore cannot bless him with any goodness as she has none. Piper then states that since Leo is a whitelighter, they take their chances without the wiccaning (which leads to the clip).
