There's gonna be a challenge quest in the future involving surtur that David can solo using the holy shroud of magdalene and some healing command codes it'll take at least 60 turns so I'd recommend leveling his party wide evasion first
@@SuneDunes It already came in JP earlier this month and you play JP too, no? They basically 10x increased his hp, and the hp of every super memorial quest node.

Even at level 50 he lived over 10 turns on a boss fight during a lost belt he is also a great solo archer and iirc the evade can stack with only his skill

If only he could give divine protection to an ally and not just himself and with additional effect, or just make it, protection of the faith type skill. His first can be better for support.
Very much agreed! His first skill does rather stick out like a sore thumb; either the support (or as you say, making it something akin to Protection of the Faith) option would go. a great deal to fixing it!
David is really useful, specially for budget setups. He always rescues me withs his Harp of Healing when dealing with bosses. One of my favorites, I haven't grailed anyone yet but David seems a good candidate for me.
There's something so infuriating about the fact that 3 star superstars has a definite end point... purely because FGO doesn't make 3* or lower servants anymore.
@@SuneDunes They like to pretend that Welfares are enough... and then they don't let you get the likes of Assassin Shiki or Ridertoki anymore. What's worse is they lock a fair amount of the newer ones behind story completion too like with Caster Shuten. The later you start the game, the less you are physically capable of having objectively, even though late starters need them most.

CinderLiz is better than basically all welfares other than Ridertoki who she is comparable to, and she has many advantages over him dueto hard survival, debuff cleanse, ramping damage and whatnot. Santa Karna is just an amazing general carrier. Yu Lancer is a fantastic male slayer boss killer with extremely good internals. Da Vinci Ruler is effectively an alternative to Chiron on a better class and significantly higher damage. And while older, Kagetora and Summer Hokusai are great as well

And there *still* hasn't been a welfare ST Assassin that can measure up to Shiki... actually have there been *any* welfare ST Assassins aside from her? Edit: Anyway, all this could be solved more or less if they did something like the Halloween collection recently for other types of welfare. But then again we also thought they'd give us more than 2 or 3 main interludes so...

You can also use Maid In Halloween to increase healing effectiveness.

Funnily enough I did use David for the SERAPH KP fight. I didn't have Merlin, so him combined with a friend Merlin stalled her NPs till the 21st turn

@@SuneDunes We rarely see a tristan solo especially in jp were his animation update and his buff is upgraded.
One of the first archers I leveled up. Don't use him as often nowadays, but he still finds his way to some challenge quests and bosses.
