Thank you so much! Best work i have ever seen. I have just one question. Does cortical pathway to PPRF goes through internal capsule? And if internal capsule hemoragy leads to horisontal gase deviation as well

Thank you for the kind words! Regarding your question, you are correct, the cortical pathways pass through the internal capsule ipsilaterally, then decussate at the level of the upper pons before synapsing in the contralateral PPRF. Despite the pathway going through the internal capsule, it is typically not associated with gaze deviation, but there are report of patients with internal capsule lesions with gaze deviation. This is dependent on the exact location (anterior/genu/posterior) and size.

Thank you for the illustration and explanation. I’m a pontine bleed stroke survivor since last month (26 y.o.) suffering from horizontal gaze palsy and double vision. But when the stroke happened, only my right eye got turned to the nose, and now my right is just a little bit towards the nose. I can’t seem to find a scenario like mine anywhere.
What being damaged couldve caused this? And can my eye sight be normal again because of neuroplasticity and my age? Please help..

To add further information, I can feel myself commanding my eyes to move laterally but they don’t move at all.
