Last month I watched a video from a makeup artist, that showed us just a product, which costs so much money, that should give a natural glow instead of showing us other techniques with the things that we already have and could use. Such a pity. I didn't watch the full video because without the product there was nothing else that could help me with this make up look.
I'm older now 47 ,I still use black but ,I find sometimes it can look to harsh ,and I go for a deep brown for liner ,I still love blackest black I can find for mascara though 😊
My brows aren't sparse but they are gray. Some people won't leave the house without mascara, I won't leave the house without brow gel even on "no makeup" days.
@@Freedommjw, I would say the ashiest of what I have is Elf Wow Brow deep brown (oddly enough) or Essence Make Me Brown soft browny brown. I am always on the lookout for something more auburn and that is hard to come by, too.

I retired early, and my goal with my makeup is to cover any darkness, and add some color with blush and lip gloss. Since I wear glasses, I don’t do a lot to my eyes, but filling in my brows is a must. I like just using concealer (no other complexion products.) my two favorites are the Wet m Wild Incognito and the NYX Bare With Me!

I am now wanting to buy that Lunar Beauty skin tint. I'm 51 next month and I don't like a heavy foundation anymore. My skin is a lot like yours in color, not much redness though, really. I have huge eye bags and quite a lot of expression lines even though I don't get much sun. I'm just old and and emotional in every way, haha. It looks like A CREAM foundation, then it's a skin tint and looks beautiful!
For a no makeup look I mix a tiny bit of Weleda skin food on the back of my hand with a smidgeon of concealer (I cycle through different formulas and they all work)….mix the two together and apply sparingly to my face where I need it (I find less is more). I focus most on center of face: under eyes, forehead, chin, and around nose. Lightly blend outward towards sides of face. For cheeks and lips I use Milani cream blush which I blend with my fingers. Sometimes I will mix the Weleda skin food and a lip liner on the back of my hand and use that as a cheek and lip tint. I use an eye shadow stick for my lids and a touch of loose illuminating setting powder in T zone to finish. I have dry and sensitive skin and live in a high humidity area. This method gives me a dewy ‘my skin but better’ finish without a grease slick. It also keeps my skin in top shape so I rely less on makeup to conceal the imperfections makeup can contribute to. I would recommend this method for minimalists and people on a budget as well as those who suffer from makeup settling into fine lines😊👍 but avoid at all costs if I were oily 😅

I liked this video . I learned a couple of things for this look. I can’t go out of my house without filling in my brows with a pencil. I would feel Naked. I conceal some spots on my face from getting older & sun damage. Even though I constantly put sunscreen on my face for many years being in the sun. And a light lipstick to look alive.. Then I’m able to run errands if I have to. Thanks for all your tips! You really look refreshed at end of the video in this no makeup look. 💕
Fantastic natural makeup look tutorial! How does the camellia oil compare to the texture of argon or rosehip oil? I wear brown mascara during the day and use gray or brown liner. Black eyeliner is too harsh on me. Thanks for the inspiration!

Oh my gosh, I feel like I actually picked up some things I didn't know. But I also realized I do a lot of this instinctually. I remember reading Kevin Aucoin's first book which I bought back in the late 90s which had so much fun stuff. I had a lot of those kinds of books. They're all gone because I met my dumb ex husband. LOL. I should have never moved in there! Those books were cool af. Thanks for this one, I'm trying a lot of this because I take forever to play around in the mornings, so I get up SO early. I need a regimented morning routine. I have so much stuff...I need to pare down the products for the day pile by about 80%, :)
I tightline everyday usually using Cargo Colombia eyeshadow I found at Dollar Tree, applied with an angled, tapered tip liner brush from the now defunct BB&B. Some kind of lip stain with an ever so slightly shimmery gloss or balm is a must or I feel naked.

That's what I do. I'm not that white, but sunscreen does the job lately. I just do spot concealer, a little blush, lipstick and mascara. That's it. Some days, here and there, IF I'm feeling too shinny, a little powder and done.

I use Just for Men Mustache and Beard dye on my brows- inexpensive, lots of shades, lasts about 3 weeks on me.

I like to apply a luminous blush then use a fluffy brush and apply powder foundation. It gives me a glow within look

My mom only wore lipstick, did her brows and once in a while use the lipstick for blush. I have never seen her wear eyeshadow.

My best tip: let your sunscreen provide your coverage, or use untinted first, then a slightly tinted one over it. (plus concealer if desired)

I can’t seem to do no makeup makeup. I feel like I need to go full out every day or I feel plain Jane blah. 😂Also, I must use sunscreen everyday!!
