Thank you for this video! Started investing in April. I’m currently at 5.35 per month in dividends and I can’t wait until it’s 500$ per month. I will get there !!
Well investing is risky no matter what, the thing u have to look into is how long are you going to hold onto ur stock? In my opinion long term is the best option especially rn don’t let the drop stop u, but at the same be mindful and plan carefully (do research) no matter what the economy will go back normal overtime. Don’t invest knowing u’re going to need the money in a few years. Go for 5-10 years or more!
I get why you want to push Webull, but as far as dividend stocks, they don't support dividend reinvestment at this time. Maybe sometime in the future, but as of now, it's not supported. Why not push another service like Stash, M1 Finance, or another free/low cost investment platform that does has dividend reinvestment?
I need your help on this. What can I do if the dividend was announced , I brought the stock prior to ex dividend and sell it on the ex dividend date and the company doesn't pay the dividend?
Great question! It would go back into the company to build it, R&D, etc. that’s why sometimes companies with huge dividend payouts don’t grow as fast, since they don’t have as much money to reinvest into the company
I dig all the picks except for Monroe Capital. Unproven companies with dividend % that high usually cut 'em before you can even book a potential long-term gain.
Hi comment section. I was wondering if it's still beneficial to buy into dividend stocks that are going down in value? like the ones listed, their stock prices have been going down consistently, and wouldn't you be losing money in the long run due to lowering stock prices?
Hey so maybe I’m crazy but I have a super important question. What website do you use to check out the stocks P.E. for example or the dividend yield and things like that. The pictures you show are very simple to understand and I’ve been having a hard time checking out other stocks that interest me. Thanks!
Pretty good list, but anyone looking to do straight divided investments please do it in companies you believe in and don't get caught chasing those numbers
Thank you for breaking down, as much as you could, barney style because I'm still learning. Lastly, how do you know which stocks pay dividends on a monthly or quarterly?
You may have missed something with Exxon. Take into account that 2021 is the race for King of the Electric Cars between Tesla, Volkswagen. Mercedes, and BMW. Electric cars will be more attractive and/or affordable next year.
Isn't it dangerous to invest in EXXON because they only prioritise paying dividend instead of re-invest their assets. Therefore, it may affect their long term profit and stock price.
An idea... The U.S would like to buy Greenland. But that is not possible - as Greenland is part of the Danish Kingdom. A lot of the big companies are owned by the Greenland Homerule. You can of course - always buy yourself some influence in the companies, that are listed on the stock market. But it is only the Greenland Bank - Grønlandsbanken - which are listed at NASDAQ OMX Copenhagen. So if you are interested in supporting the artic region, or get some influence in the region you could consider bying the stock!? The stock "Grønlandsbanken" could perhaps also be an interesting stock to buy for speculative reasons!! There will most probably be an increse in competition bewteen the U.S, China and Russia in the coming years, where these countries will try to get more influence and power in the artic region. The stock "Grønlandsbanken" is also a relatively secure investment, as Greenland's economy are backed up by The Danish Government and the Danish economy. Under normal circumstances - besides "coronasituations" - the dividend is normally around 5 pct. per year for the stock.
It's just weird to invest in tobacco for dividends when you don't believe they will get better.. idk, I see VR, 5G, and healthcare stuff.... So it's weird to pump money into something you don't trust just for dividends
I started following the Bitcoin revolution in August 2017 after learning about it in seminar I attended that was invited by my friend and so last year I decided to go into it by buying 6BTC when Bitcoin was at $14,460 with the hope that it will amount to $50,000 per BTC according to prediction of 2018. I kept it in my wallet hoping for it to rise high so that I can gain massively from my investment but it turned out to be that reverse was the case and my investment keep declining and so I was a bit worried and was trying all means to recover my investment by trading in different market and I lost close to 1BTC. I decided I won't trade again and have to go into deep intensive research and I found a beginners trading post which talks about strategies on how to trade and make profit and I was like how is it possible? But I decided to give it a try and contacted a sec licensed broker Maria Giovanna Lupu via her mail (mariagiovannalupu@gmail.com) who now explained to me the different ways to make profit in this bearish market. So I invested 2 BTC of my coin in November 2018, and it quickly rose to 6 BTC towards the end of December 2018, and I was convinced that I have finally found the best way to make good profit from Bitcoin. If you're still confused about the steps to take this year I urge you to contact or WhatsappCHAT (+12138733814). For all your cryptocurrency questions, strategy and beginners coaching and how She can equally help you get started to financial freedom.... Kindly tell her I recommended you to her.
Never invest in a stock solely on their dividends. Look at their overall finacial health. The dividend should be icing on the cake. Furthermore, companies that end in financial issues, the first thing they do is slash their dividends. Hence XOM & T.

Content creator is clueless. Market is pricing in decline or possible cancellation of dividends, hence the increase in dividend yields. Or in the case of Exxon, they are paying dividends by issuing debt. There is no free lunch, you don't just come across a high dividend yield. Past performance is not indicative of future results. Stock is not a buy unless you know something the market doesn't and believe the current outlook priced into the stock price will not play out. These are all terrible companies to buy for their dividends. Buying should be based on if you believe a turnaround will take place. This is the problem when something, in this case investing becomes a fad. The theatre becomes overcrowded by content creators, who are usually clueless.
