I was just reading the Mirror, and I'm fed up of listening to Arsene Wenger and his bullshit excuses, now turning it on the fans to just get behind our players, we the fans have always been behind the players we got, but you Mr Wenger need to lookout for the interest of the team, and stop giving bullshit excuses for your lack of good management, no fucking CDM or ST in the transfer window again!!! Even if we do the double, does not make it right, your decision not to buy is damn right negligent!

I agree but the club needs to restructure the wage policy. Because this will continue on and on. And we will miss out on quality signings which i think is not good.
+ifie ejiroghene Yeah, because that's worked so well at United hasn't it? Since Rooney blackmailed them into paying him way over the odds, every new player they get is demanding the same wages! Arsenal are restructuring but they are doing it gradually. That's the right way. Bring a new player in at, say, £300,000 a week and apart from setting a benchmark for all future new players you also upset your existing players, who won't be getting anywhere near that. So either the wage bill goes through the roof or you have a squad full of discontent.
BoingBB Well i get what you mean and by the way im not saying it should be at that silly range of 300k. Our highest earner is 150 i guess. But well i dont mind seeing a player come to Arsenal earning 180 as long as the player is worth it. Dont get me wrong im not reffering to young players like sterling here but players in that sanchez calibre. This will continue to hurt us. We needed a CF. Now we didnt get any. Giroud will not be able to do everything on his own and fans will keep on criticizing him.
Obviously, like most supporters I would have liked to see another striker coming in, but if the quality ones aren't available at the right price, or if their clubs don't want to sell, we'll have to be content with the players we have. Check Giroud's stats and Benzema's for the last two seasons and you'll see there isn't much difference - and Giroud was playing in a harder league. Personally I think we're ok on the attacking front but I would have liked to see another DM come in. I suppose now we'll find out if Walcott can make the grade as a striker... and hope to see goals from Sanchez, the Ox, Ramsey, Ozil etc. to supplement Giroud's. I still think Giroud can get us 20 goals this season - but he must be supported or his confidence will suffer... and then we'll be lucky to see 15 goals out of him!
