I have loved Emmure since their debut mostly for Frankie’s talent but now that they have Josh Travis on guitar they’ve elevated to another level. Look at yourself was downright vicious and this seems even more lethal.
Remember when Emmure was one of the most hated bands? Now look where they are now. I'm so proud of them. Frankie's vocals gone much better + with his lyrics and Josh Travis heavy downtune-ness just brings this to another level. I'm hyped for the new album :3!

@@PublicUrinals Frankie used to wear a Columbine shooter shirt that said "Shoot first, ask questions later" Also, a lot of ppl don't like that many of their older songs sound the same and are too simple (common breakdowns, 010101s, with Frankies screams).
Dustin it was Frankies clothing line, Cold Soul, that had shirts that were designed to disrupt the way we think. The Columbine shirt is what did it for him.
Gods, YES! That first section at :45 is just... pure Joshua Travis. It's ridiculously groovy and low, but not so low that it sounds like mud. He has TONE. I hope he incorporates some of his signature dissonant tapping on Hindsight! Danza IIII is one of my top three favorite metal albums of all time, and Joshua Travis probably tied for my favorite guitar player (rest in peace, Justin Lowe) I saw Joshua at the merch booth at an After the Burial/Emmure/As I Lay Dying show (I left 10 minutes into As I Lay Dying; I tried, guys) and I had to tell him how much of a fan of his work that I am. He seemed kinda surprised - he seems like a pretty humble dude! You guys ever check out Joshua's Soundcloud? He has some MAD stuff on his Soundcloud!

This album is so pure of destruction, the lyrics so dark and melancholic... and the melodic ending of this song is like a sad reminder that we cannot escape humanity's new fate. it just fits these times perfectly.

That gurgly sound is what his vocals sounded like most of the time on their old records. I always wondered if it was an actual technique or a recording thing.
