    Brad I appreciate you keeping it real, and honest! I think the biggest struggle for western society is being honest about life and allowing others to speak into their lives and doing something with that honest information. I've got a budgeting question so ill post on your budgeting vid!

    Very informative and honest! I really appreciate this. When I first started looking into making a plan for my family's financial freedom, I looked up credible FREE resources (of which there are many) and listened to audiobooks, including a couple by Dave Ramsey. Cost me a $11.99 Scribd subscription and research time to get what I needed and now we are on track to be out of debt by the end of this year. I like that you are not bashing anything but giving a realistic mindset on this field because you are looking through the eyes of the typical consumer and not that it's a great concept to sell to people. Great ideas are conjured all the time but looking at that idea through the eyes of others is the difference that determines the success of it.

    Here is what I have found out while doing exhaustive research on if Dave Ramsey's FCMT Worth It - most people speaking negatively on it have 1) been through it; and 2) are selling something of their own at the end of their own infomercial.

    Excellent Honest video. I am a pre Dave guy but agree with most of his stuff. I became wealthy before I heard of him. I am curious about his financial coaching program because I want to help people that want help controlling their finances. I do not want any money to help people but if I do not charge them they will not do anything as you probably know. I would take the course if the price was reasonable but I get the feeling that it is Expensive, I can sit down and create my own course on my own time for Free. But I would like to know the cost of his course and if there are Upsells etc.. Thank You.

    • @BradLongCo

      You don't really need to "buy" FCMT to become a solid financial coach. Just start talking to people and offering to help them for free or for a discounted rate. Get feedback on your process. Ask for testimonials and to follow them during their process so you can develop case studies. Buy the course if you want, but you can probably already coach people if that's what you want to do...

    Question: Did I misread one of Ramsey’s ads-becoming a financial coach costs $3000?

    • @BradLongCo
      @BradLongCo  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yeah, that's likely the full price but they do run specials. I train financial coaches for a fraction of that. Plus, the FC part of their training is only 50% of the equation you need to be successful.

    I feel like Dave Ramsey got rich on the back of Christians. If I had followed his advice, I wouldn’t have made 600k on flipping a home last year. His advice is OK for people who might not be savvy making money and want to work 9 to 5. With any advice, figure things out for yourself. Seeing his own homes and all of his luxury cars and real estate I just think this guy is full of smoke and mirrors.

      Ramsey has helped millions get themselves out of debt. It's just a plan and some products he sells. He does t hold a gun to anyone's head and make them do anything. He's very clear on the risk of debt. Great that you are successful. Things go great with borrowed money until they don't.

      @@BradLongCo yes. I help people for free by leading a financial health class at church as well as individual coaching to help them set up a budget and get themselves out of debt. I never intended to charge broke people for helping them help themselves. I made a ton of mistakes and bad financial decisions in life. I’m now retired, blessed to have all I need, and like to help others experience freedom from debt. I think a person should say what they have to offer and not use others names to draw traffic to the their content. It reeks of sliminess.
