@@Dr.PhDeez It should come with the reciever with a 3.5mm jack. Plug that in the back of your radio, and in my case with the F7 SE it worked out of the box
this control controller is usually for older vehicles that did not have steering wheel controls - If you want to retain your factory controls you have to buy a " Steering wheel control interface " for your vehicle - then you can use your factory controls.
@@JackieTheGoat you can tap into the steering wheel control wire directly and it will let you program the buttons. If you have hands free internet, there is a loopback adapter you can by to get the call and hang up buttons working as well. If that fails you can get the pac adapter to regain the SWC buttons functionality. I will be installing this over next few weeks in a 2012 Altima. I will respond once done with any issues I find
Thank you! Extremely helpful; almost damaged the remote thinking I had to insert the battery… luckily I stopped and found your video… still don’t know how to change the battery though…
Thanks for the interesting video. Why does it display "Invalid Operation" when you press the microphone button? Isn't that supposed to activate Google Assistant voice control?
YOU DON'T NEED WIRELESS STEERING CONTROLS WHEN YOUR CAR COMES EQUIP WITH FACTORY STEERING CONTROLS YOU CAN USE IT FOR AFTERMARKET RADIO WITH A INTERFACE ADAPTER
Hello! Contacted several times Atoto but they never anwered me. Do you think this radio (atoto f7 for toyota) will fit in a regular 2din cage? Thank you so much!
@@786Garage There are some that do have recharge connection place, but they don’t have the rotating part to change the volume, only buttons. I’m looking for one that has both.
Good question and i have the answer : I read the customers reviews on Amazon and they said about a month, too bad for my taste.👺... CR2032 is the battery type
Has anyone had issues with it turning down or up volume, activating google, pausing music? Tried customer service and it leaves a bit to be desired since they want a video of an intermittent issue
Just ordered this thing after finding out my steering wheel controls will never work on the radio. Glad it works nicely. Good video, thanks!
Glad it helped
How did you activate it?

I feel like there is a kit that allows for factory steering wheel control
@@AndreBarnett There are, not for my car model though

What atoto has physical buttons? I need that
How do you change the battery out?

This is considered a double din unit
This ATOTO remote control is good for radios without physical knobs.
It works really well in my Jeep
As good as having factory steering wheel controls.
So once it’s plugged in, the remote automatically starts working with radio? I don’t have to connect it ?
Correct
Nice video. Is weird I have an Atoto A6 but there's no rc connection
Any rechargeable ones we can permanently wire up?
Highly doubt it but at the same time never tried it

My remote rotates around 360 as well as the volume dial... is it supposed to do that?
No it definitely shouldn’t do that. Just the dial should rotate
I can't figure out how to get mines to start working! I even changed the (2032) battery. Anybody have any suggestions? Much appreciated
That’s weird cause mine connected automatically. Sorry
Battery duration?

I had the same issues at one point. Once I replaced the battery all those issues went away. May be worth trying the same thing
Very detailed, thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
Just wish it wasn't so ugly lol.
That's my thought ...so ugly
