Making Live Edge Oak Cutting Boards

I made a bunch of oak cutting boads or charcuterie boards from a locally sourced slab of oak. This was a fun project as I could do it (or most of it) in my living room using hand tools with the children making presents and chatting away next to me. Two of these boards had bow ties to prevent further splitting, so I spent a while making these and filling the splits with epoxy. Then lots and lots of sanding.
