This as an old 64 year old woman , in a male dominated industry who is smarter than 98% of everyone younger than her, better looking and healthier than 80% of both women and men than her. Productivity gains from explosive innovation are going to overcome problematic indicators that we will see in the next year or so. Fiscal policy. Unemployment report was worst than expected. Motivating policy makers to pass stimulus. Retail and other services business drying up. Election and fiscal policy. Grid-lock situation. Depends on GA on Jan 5. Expecting Republican to hold Senate. House may have more Republicans than expected, down to 10/11. Republicans may bring some democrats to their policy. More conservative tilt than expecting. @5:10 Economy - consumption, housing, capital spending, trading has picked up dramatically. Last 6 months, inventories have started building again. Businesses were scrambling in durable and non-durable side to keep up with demand. Inventories need to keep up with final sales growth. No longer the case, unless strong holiday season. JP Morgan credit growth up Black Friday weekend. Up ~9% from October, usually see a correlation with retail going up . Nonfarm payroll employment up 245,000. Expectations 260,000. Household employment down 77,000. Broader decline. Unemployment declined 0.2%. Less people than normal looking for jobs maybe because holiday season. Weak numbers. Retail was weak. Resurgence of COVID, restrictions on restaurants and other retail establishments. Tech was flat. Interesting because productivity increasing in tech sector itself. Government spending was biggest weak spot. Maybe in fiscal package shoring up of hardest hit states and local governments. Significant drop in manufacturing work week. 0.5% drop or 0.2 hours.* If inventory is keeping up with final demand, then it means manufacturers are not scrambling. Positive report. Average weekly earning accelerated 5.6 to 5.8%. Saving rate is still higher than historical standards 15.6 vs 6.6%. Even though dropped 0.2% from prior month. Durable goods report. Surge in capital spending and is under way. Maybe due to digitalization of global economy. Much more profound than she expected. Market indicators. "Commodity with PHD" Copper has broken to upside and relative to Gold. Big cyclical indicator. One reason breakout is because USD is breaking down, or economic recovery, or both. @12:51 Inflation indicator USD decline could help bolster S&P and US earnings. @13:10 Interest rates. Long term treasury bond year 10 year is in low 90s. If it moves above 1%. It's straight shot to 1.5%. Fixed income investors would be problematic. Recently seen some inflow. Not including share repurchase. Fixed income has seen inflows of $800 B. Total $1.2T difference. Both on high levels. When it's high, we're going to have a correction, but not always. Not a lot of other indicators in bubble indicator. We have current 150-200,000 proteins, 170M proteins including plants and animals. 70% improvement from 2 years ago, expected timeframe was 6 years. Deep Learning (AI) took most of human programming from AI equation. Human programmers cannot perceive all permutations, but when you throw huge data to AI and computing power, machine can compute it. Secret sauce to getting machine there faster is the domain expertise of the researchers/biologists were setting goals or reward systems for the machines to reach. Domain expertise is the secret sauce. We don't expect humans to be replaced out by AI. $NVTA have domain expertise to guide AI to the right goals. @21:30 Over the Air software updates. Tesla $TSLA is only automaker that can anticipate and correct problems on over the air software updates, before owner understands there is a problem. This is a broader concept to digitize physical world. Like PagerDuty $PD is digitalizing operations and business. Docusign $DOCU is now creating an agreement cloud. @24:50 BTC. Came down to $4000 in March. Growing pains, entire ecosystem has grown. Microstrategy $MSTR has converted all cash on balance sheet to BTC. SQ converts 1% of assets, 2% of cash to BTC. Expect other companies to do the same. PYPL is following SQ and Robinhood to buy BTC. What would happen is companies allowed 5% allocation to BTC? As a retired molecular biologist, the use of AI to accurately determine the structure of a protein in space is a remarkable thing to me! Like you say it will make drug discovery go incredibly faster. Bought into ARKK, F, G, Q & W 5 or 6 weeks ago and intend to go long. My ARKW is up the most but as time passes these ETF's can change lead positions. Did i mention that Cathie Wood is one of the most impressive presenters I've listened to in years. She is the real deal.

But I come out of a state that did that to me. I just wanted to say the Democrats have a reputation they don't deserve. Life out here's kind of a step above if you don't have a lot of money. The fear porn the GOP pushes is incorrect. I invest and yeah they are the party of big government but in essence its better to pool resources to pay for big things anyways as taxpayers because wed get discounts if everyone wasnt thinking in terms of individuality and started thinking about bulk purchases. When a society opts to buy in bulk it can strong arm those it purchases its needs from into lowering their prices.

You are absolutely right that one of the largest efficiency improvements the coming decade will come from real time AI analysis. Everything you care about will come with sensors. Those sensors will write data points to a stream, typically a DLT, public or private. AI:s will analyze all incoming data points and predict machine failures, delivery delays, health conditions, etc. Automatic actions can then be taken that basically eliminates the problem before anyone can even notice it. Thanks for your and Arks work during 2020. Looking forward to 2021.
Best randament on 6k will be in a company of ARKG, not in the ETF. I think the best value right now is in PACB, number 2 in ARKG, where ARK Invest continues to add more and more.

As a retired molecular biologist, the use of AI to accurately determine the structure of a protein in space is a remarkable thing to me! Like you say it will make drug discovery go incredibly faster. Makes me think of Rosalind Franklin and the great work she did years ago on DNA's structure. I was wondering why you bought Alphabet a few days ago for ARKG! Exciting times to own ARKG no doubt!!

I just wanted to say the Democrats have a reputation they don't deserve. Life out here's kind of a step above if you don't have a lot of money.
The fear porn the GOP pushes is incorrect. I invest and yeah they are the party of big government but in essence its better to pool resources to pay for big things anyways as taxpayers because wed get discounts if everyone wasnt thinking in terms of individuality and started thinking about bulk purchases. When a society opts to buy in bulk it can strong arm those it purchases its needs from into lowering their prices.
Please keep doing these videos after COVID instead of tv show appearances. This is so much more meaningful.

You are absolutely right that one of the largest efficiency improvements the coming decade will come from real time AI analysis. Everything you care about will come with sensors. Those sensors will write data points to a stream, typically a DLT, public or private. AI:s will analyze all incoming data points and predict machine failures, delivery delays, health conditions, etc. Automatic actions can then be taken that basically eliminates the problem before anyone can even notice it.
Thanks for your and Arks work during 2020. Looking forward to 2021.

Best randament on 6k will be in a company of ARKG, not in the ETF. I think the best value right now is in PACB, number 2 in ARKG, where ARK Invest continues to add more and more.
Best thing I ever did was sell of my individual stocks and get into ARKG, ARKF, ARKQ. get in ASAP!
