This is a Kazakh song from 1904, and while he sings it as only he could, it sounds like a traditional song and classic Dimash. Or does it? React to his recent CCTV-1 performance of it (it won't be blocked) and I guarantee you will be surprised. * Samaltau. Another older Kazakh song written a couple decades later about the cataclysmic events in 1916. It's dramatically different from Dudarai or any other Dimash song you've reacted to. There are three well known performances of it but imo the best by far is his Tokyo Jazz Festival version. * My Beauty. Dimash has created many great songs, and this is an early pop song he composed when he was 15 years old. (His dad wrote the lyrics; like Dimash has said, they're a bit old-fashioned in attitude!)
