Colin first played in a band called Back Door, a three piece with bass, drums, and a gentle playing keyboard and sax... Sometimes at the SAME TIME. Then after they broke up, he's been a popular session musician for his uniqueness, and has been doing a BUNCH of one man shows... Cause he's that good. I actually found out about him through Jonas Hellborg. I was watching an interview about how to make your chords on bass sound better, and he mentioned Colin and his style... So glad for that. Jonas is one of my new favorites of ALL TIME. He's so unique and excellent... I shiver when he plays. He's a great musician to strive to be as good as... Played with John McLaughlin, Shawn Lane, etc. etc! *Drools from how awesome Jonas Hellborg is*
@@samuelward1148 I gotta mention the most stereotypical thing ever Jonas reminds me of Jaco.. Bit of a stretch there like fretting that one nasty harmonic on Portrait of Tracy. But since he is so unique he has his own world of sound. These are all amazing musicians and I would be the happiest person in the world if everybody and every person is involved and played music !! There is a universe of possibilities if you take time and learn the language !

WeZte I got it. Few weeks ago and I love it. As an object, it is beautiful, it feels beautiful. The small C shape neck is just amazing. It doesn’t look cheap at all. It also sounds amazing. Now, I play at home over a pedal board and straight to my headphones, so don’t take this as a proper review.... The control knobs are responsive and not too lose that you could move them by mistake, but they don’t require too much effort either. I am just in love with this bass. Maybe @adamneely could give us a better insight from a teacher/profesional musician perspective. For the price I would say... get it. And then later start moding it. I will change some things in the future.
Adam Neely your lessons are always informative and most important Useful! Plus great and fun video editing. However, even though the video quality here is great and there are so many camera POVs. However, the cameras kept jumping around to the worst POVs of your demonstrations. Either too far away to see your fingerings, zooming in on your the bass headstock or on Jayme's bass headstock blocking the view of your finger positioning, etc. Awesome lesson but I spent so much time pausing and scrolling back and forth the video to see what Adam was doing, it was painful to watch and to figure out the technique. Just food for thought.

More chords, I've been looking for chords on bass, other than Scotts bass lessons there isn't much content on the UTube, so thanks very much guys !
