Just because there are little range in the mix doesn't mean it will be good to take in cav phal/wedge because as you know range does insane damage to cav and while most of the enemy inf is stalling time it give the range a lot of time to damage your cav. And of course due to the nature of heavy inf in the rally the only option is inf wedge/phalanx. I believe you would have capped him with that
For 26mil that's not to bad just took 4 max account rallies on my t4 I like to over calculate so I was thinking what if they come inf with 75 carps now I swapped to cav but put my hero and fams full range support incase was a mix When the rally came flying in I completely forgot I was in cav phal Disappointed myself was already getting gems for the leads I already had but trying to think ahead I outplayed myself And do you know which rotation of paragon gear tempering comes in? I got some gear to temper on my t3 and I just wanna gamble it away but was thinking if should do it then to rank 1st or 2nd in that category

Inf phal Would Work better For you And sure there wouldn't be any walk back Even if you loose the same 3m amount of troops but in cav phal with inf with the most backline Can never Cap With this troop comp ......... He Just tricked you So you can go to cav phal that's why they hasn't carped fast

I suggest taking full cavalry reinforcements when expecting a mix rally
