Dats crazy Katrina happened in August 28 29 2005 now 13 something years later another hurricane. Honestly hurricane season is usually in August September. Louisiana is near so much water by the gulf of Mexico it's juhz brings memories back from 05 Katrina. Stay safe. Evacuate as soon as possible sad story

No hurricanes? Hurricane Harvey 4 years ago.. record rainfall, displaced 1.8 million. I agree they should get out of harms way but I'm think they need to go further than Texas. Perhaps the west side of Texas is better, gulf side is quite vulnerable.

Reading through the comments and a lot.. asking why do y'all stay in Louisiana.. Do people realize if the people didn't come back you won't get your goods from overseas. New Orleans has one of the biggest ports in the US. You like gas and oil. Guess what lake Charles has one of the largest refinery here. And the seafood. You like shrimp, crabs, fish.
