Lots of talk about "stable" and "planted" lol. It was on 3 wheels with the mower in doing a turn on pavement. Not to mention The left rear was like 6" off the ground going across a slightly slanted grass field.
C&C used Equipment videos. He buys a lot of the military CASE Backhoe ones. He rebuild goes completely through them. He has quit a few on his lot. Check out his sales videos. Great guy who walks the viewers through all aspects of Repair and what you as a used equipment buyer can do yourself on say track wear, on both excavator and Dozer. He buys a lot of surplus Military, especially Dozers. He finds that most were well taken care of. ( Fact of what he shows He loves the old Military CAT D-7 that I remember from my Military time in the mid 70s. We never had any Unimogs. But I love the multi purpose and that the CASE backhoe folds down so nice, and easy control Levers to do it with. Locks up tight to Unimogs. He showed on one video at a Richie Brothers big sales lot. Going from equipment to equipment, how to go through a screen on modern Dozer to show the viewers how to bring up FAULTS. So you see by just going on screen the wear and tear of Dozer, without knowing any history.
What would a comparable hp tractor set up cost? What about hyd flow compared to a tractor? With the wide area mowers installed, i would assume that ground bearing pressure would be less? So a turf application maybe
@@williamhall5401 this is about 10-15% more expensive than a like sized tractor setup with a boom mower. It is more versatile, normally you can't use a boom mower and wing mowers on the same machine like this can. If you account for its versatility you can pencil it out pretty quickly.
Question: When I was growing up in the 50's in PA, the highway crews used, if I remember correctly, a type of four wheel mower, rotary I believe, where the operator walked behind the mower controlling it. Dark forest green color. I've never seen any pictures or references about it since. Anyone?
Seems counter intuitive to "release" the inching pedal to go faster but yet push it in to stop like it was a clutch. I've never owned anything with an inching pedal, is that how they all work? Why not just push down more to go faster like a hydro pedal?
Hi Neil! Great shot of the HydraForce manifold there! Thanks.
shout out :-)
Good old JD combine cab. The one that just won’t die.. Nice machine btw
Unfortunately I missed getting by to see y’all while I was in PA. I pray y’all have a blessed winter!

15:04 looks real stable and planted…
Sure looks light on the front right tire around 23:00.
I like the “3 wheel motion” during the U-turn
Good thinking they made lots of space to work on engine, for sure it's gonna be needed with this Perkins
That think looks really well thought out
Have you ever taken a look at an Unimog?
In Germany the are the gold standard for municipal tasks.

You got me with the power folding step ladder. That is one bad a$$ rig there. I'm guessing over $200K
Just seen one on a semi heading north on I79, nice machine.
Gotta love municipal budgets. Sky's the limit...
That machine as it sits is over $250k.
at MSRP. There is heavy discounting for government sales (not that its cheap even then)

Apparently you don’t know about my town lol
Cool machine.
As seen on: Neil's Deals next week!

how many have you guys sold ?
Looks like a swather. If it would be just a little taller, ther could put a mower conditioner on it. Nice mower though, thanks for sharing. Jason
What is the ballpark cost of one of these ?
Uncle Sam kind of money.
I'm guessing 150k + $ . Only our townships and county can pay for it.
Epic
would changing for other implement, would the joystick be replaced by a implement specific one?
No, the controls for both are all installed already.
We want to see it in action
Nice Be Good if you can get out and film one working Thanks again
What is the cab off of?
It's a Deere cab. That's actually pretty common on niche equipment like this.
Could you use it like a backhoe
They don't market it that way, but it doesn't seem far-fetched.
@@MessicksEquip it looks like you could put a bucket on it for some digging

Yes, that's typical
The one time I drove an old school bulldozer, it had a similar pedal -- foot off the pedal to go, foot down to stop.
They should have made the operator’s seat and controls swivel to the right.
Those are made in my backyard
The government, when its not your money its easy to spend it
Its planted... but tire off ground :)
Maybe they were demonstrated that
Dang Neil... make some videos for regular folks. No one is going to buy a Alamo Mantis to cut their yard.
They service all types of customers so they will probably market everything under the sun. Also it nice seeing unique equipment
