Allerdings habe ich die Schaltung nicht so gemacht wie dargestellt, sondern auf eine Lochrasterplatine gelötet und in ein kleines Plastikgehäuse eingebaut. Für das Multimeter habe ich Zwischenstecker verwendet.
When you say that measurement of voltage across the led will work on reverse polarity too, I fail to buy the idea. Can you explain how an LED will conduct with reverse polarity DC.
I did not say that.. I mean when you reverse the polarity, a problem will not occur, meaning that the LED will not be damaged due to the presence of a high resistance connected in series with the power source.
@@Inventor_AW Well! a resistance in series of an LED may not be able to save the LED if reverse voltage exceeds the breakdown reverse voltage. Be informed. To protect the LED in such condition a Diode like 1N4007 will also be required.

Sim, você pode usá-lo com um voltímetro antigo. Defina o indicador para 200 volts

This circuit is very useful, but it must be small in order to be practical and can be inserted into the measuring device without problems.

if i apply dc instead of ac what would happened because the bridge rectifier rectify it so its just dc?
Just put the 10k resistor on the positive wire
