anthony had/has a lot on his mind and thats what made the lyrics of old saosin so deep and thought-provoking. they just don't have that now, but it is still very evident in Circa Survive's songs though they don't have the same energy of old Saosin. u take the good with the bad, saosin now still rocks out, but anthony green was the real talent

Then someone told them about Anthony and he became the singer, wich he then suggested the name Saosin (Xiao Xin). A chinese word that means ''small heart'' and that also was a song name for his high school band band Audience of One. and there's no need to call me an idiot -.- Peace! :)
@rjkahlon Saosin is techincally pronounced "Say-Ocean". They did not change their name. When Anthony was in Audience of One he wrote a song called Saosin and that is where he got the name for this band.
@TheHappyman37 Since Cove left Saosin, the biggest career move for Anthony would be to rejoin Saosin. Hahahah, but I don't think they'll play post-hardcore like this....
@LightlessNyne shit, saosin with cove develops nicely. But the first time i heard translating the name (after hearing the come close album), i thought it was way better then the most recent songs. The screams sounded perfect for the band's melody and i was like "wow, how the hell did saosin change this much between 2 albums?" then i learned that anthony left the band and cove replaced him. Sad to know cus, imo, it was better b4.
as great as anthony was i also think that cove does a brilliant job. though i wish saosin would steer in more of a heavy direction like this song. and alex is a fucking shredder!
