I'm not familiar with the Explorer+ but just Googling it real quick I see it has a clip or a carabiner you can attach. The Trail18 has a loop on either strap that you could probably connect to. My video quality is kind of meh but the vertical grey band on the straps are the loops. Hope this helps!
I totally get that. Thank goodness there are folks out there who need "The All New Thing." Of the packs I've reviewed the only ones I actually own are the Ogio Throttle and the Deuter AC Lite 16, both bought on clearance as previous years models. It's amazing how much you can save buying used or even by finding the same thing in a previous years iteration. Thanks for watching!
@@averageguyadventures I just bought the previous version of Klims Carlsbad for half the price of the new one. Still 400$ (everything is expensive in Norway), but it was a sweet deal on a great jacket.
@@averageguyadventures It sure is. I have at least six jackets and pants from Klim- they have all held up through the hardest abuse. Couldn’t be more happy with the Klim gear I have. If I wasn’t, you bet I’d be the first to call them out when their prices are so steep.
Sadly, no. I own other waterproof packs and couldn't justify the cost of the Kriega so I returned it. Nothing I could see in the construction had me doubting Kriega's construction or 100% WP claim though.
@@averageguyadventures Cheers mate, thanks for the info. I run a Giant Loop saddle bag for long trips, I just need a motorcycle friendly, waterproof backpack for the day-to-day trips to gym. My R35 is finally showing some age.
Great review, first person to point out the lack of protection around the water bladder
Thank you for the great review! I am ordering it now.
Excellent! It really is a great pack and I think you'll enjoy it. And thanks for watching!
Great review. Well done
Thanks!
And thanks for stopping by!
I am confiding buying one of these packs. I use the Garmin InReach Explorer+ Is there a place to secure it to one of the straps?

@@averageguyadventures Thanks for the reply and yes it does help. I should proof read before posting “considering”
I really wanted one, but couldn’t justify the price. Bought a used Kriega R25 and put a bladder in it. Under half the price. Thanks for the review

@@JohannesDalen Sweet score! And I think Klim is expensive pretty much everywhere.

Great review. Have you had any experience w/the pack in the rain? Living in the PNW, need to know.

12L + 7L = ... 19 ... ?!!
(I think you correct this later in the video ... 👍)
Ah! My old nemesis, math. I see you have returned!
