My husband and I saw this show for our 4th dating anniversary! We have been together for 16 years now. (married 10) It was nice to see a snippet of it again. It was a wonderful show we thoroughly enjoyed it. He surprised me when he brought me to the Folger, We had just moved to the area and I didn’t know about the Folger. He knew I loved Shakespeare and of course all theatre (I majored in theatre in college.) Thanks for the memories. 🥰

This is so ridiculously overplayed. A brilliant play. Less than brilliant execution.

I disagree, I think it's well done. They're in a theatre and have to project. Also, it's very heady play, and the actors have to convey these ideas in real time to an audience that has not read the text. No easy task. But I'll give you that the relationship between the two could have had more imagination to it. The guy playing Septimus is playing an attitude and missing nuances.

So sorry that the sound is so blurry that subtitles
    Are probably needed…

This is very funny, but 'Fermat' is mispronounced throughout. It is 'Fer-Maa' with 't' silent.

Too much echo of the spoken lines
    Can’t understand much

Yes Tom ! We know how clever you are . But presenting a ragbag of disparate ideas loosely bundled together does not make a drama..
