DISCOVER THE MOST IMPRESSIVE CHURCH IN THE NETHERLANDS 🇳🇱

Hello! In today's video I will take you to visit the beautiful and majestic DE KRIJTBERG church, in Amsterdam.
This imposing building is located on one of the most famous canals in the historic center of Amsterdam, the SINGEL canal.
When you're in the Netherlands, I strongly recommend that you visit this church, even if you're just admiring its architecture, as I can assure you that it's breathtaking!
It was designed in the 19th century by famous architect Alfred Tepe. However, its history dates back to much earlier, when Catholic celebrations were still prohibited in the Netherlands, due to the Protestant Reformation.
During this period, masses were celebrated in secret locations and, only after this prohibition was it possible to build what is today DE KRIJTBERG, a living church, with various events, such as youth meetings and retreats.
