Just when I think I have seen everything Yes related...THIS is extremely well put together and performed with Excellence and detail. Fantastic Job Guys! Thank-You!!
There are 19 songs. What I recognized: 0'05: America 0'14: Yours is no disgrace 0'34: Starship trooper 0'49: Perpetual change 1'07: Roundabout 1'23: Long distance runaround 1'34: South side of the sky 1'57: The fish (Schindleria praematurus) 2'07: Heart of the sunrise 2'30: Close to the edge 3'08: And you and I 3'18: Siberian Khatru 3'44: The revealing science of God - Dance of the dawn 3'57: The remembering - High the memory 4'02: The ancient - Giants under the sun 4'19: Ritual - Nous sommes du soleil 4'37: Sound chaser 4'46: The gates of delirium 5'02: Awaken 5'26: Roundabout They are from the first Yes era, almost chronologically, and the albums are: The yes album, Fragile, Close to the edge, Tales from topographic oceans, Relayer, Going for the one. Oddly enough, they didn't include songs from the first album.
Excellent list! However, I think that the bit at 5'26 is still part of Awaken (the final part of the guitar solo). They skipped the two first albums, but included America, which Yes started playing with their first formation.
Or the second. Most people(even so called hardcore Yes fans)seem to forget about those anyway just like they try to pretend yes didn't put out any music after going for the one. Lol.
brilliant that You've put it on youtube, I love this band's virtuosity -unbelieveable, I remeber how I struggled to learn bass lines from some of Their masterpieces , their musical genius beyond compare. I love also Ruins, does anyone know if it is N. Mitsuru who plays in Natsumen ??
That ending cheer was underwhelming for such an amazing stretch of music!
Amazing performance of great music
