I was born 80's but have an odd sense of sentimentality for Tiki Culture. I love it. It gives me a sense of fantasy mixed with mystery and mischief. There's an artist by the name of Shagg who is fantastic at capturing the spirit of Tiki culture and inspires a real sense of retro-nostalgia.
Years ago, fell asleep for a little bit, lying of a raft in a pool. During my zzz's, I moved my hand to my stomach. Woke up with a hand print sunburn!!
Dave is a awesome dude. I used to hear his show on the radio. I just recently got back to listening to him. If you really hear him there's some wisdom in his words. The guy is smart, funny and cool.
I would rather talk to Dave when he isn’t in front of a camera. I’ve always wanted to meet him , off screen,so I can here Dave for Dave. To me Dave has always been my favorite entertainer and the rebel that I grew up on..I’ll always love you like a brother, or maybe an uncle Dave. I wish that you could show up at my place and I would appreciate it a lot more than the hotel room that you showed up at. It would be my true hero, along with Evh and the original VH band. Damn I’ve always loved you guys and I will die with you guys. To me VH will last forever.

The 2nd best tiki bar in all of the USA oddly is the Trader Vic's in Atlanta, GA on the bottom floor of the Atlanta Hilton. There's a good tiki scene there. At least when I lived there, there was. And the band would do tiki versions of classic rock tunes like Godzilla from Blue Oyster Cult for instance. Love to hear Dave ramble about almost anything
