Yep, me and a group of mine not even adolescent yet was hungry as fuck. I was a meg, and they where 2 ceras. Anyways we saw a lone herbie that was full grown adult, to which I think we felt confident enough to hunt on our own. But we hunted it, and almost killed it for food. Then out of no where a randon hatz or the guys hatz shows up to intervene knowing his friend sucks ass. Anyways they proceeds to have 5 of there friends on logging to kill our ceras where they brag about being hot shit and stuff. I found it halarious how all of them especially the one who was the hatz proceeded to call us pussies, especially me as a meg for staying in the water where they couldn't get me. I reported this of course, but it would seem the best course of actions about this problem would to have a debuff on how many players are in the group that causes your attacks to be less effective. And when it happens you also get a low health also. But you can have a perfect healthy and max of your bite force if you are say the example of being the same species. Imagine mixpacking but also coming in to help assist your friend who is about to die claiming that we couldn't game all because you didn't wanna die to a bunch of small fry lol. If it wasn't for the reecording on this. I wouldn't be able to report there toxicity to the developers. This was also the same group who hunted us down for almost 2 hrs I believe. After we killed just 1 of there team mates, and a friend of my purposely SU so they didn't get to have the satisfaction of finishing the fight, plus they couldn't eat or recover the body. They where very pissed about it, because they was like "Were hungry" blah blah. Well so was we, we needed food and you had like 10-15 people hunting 3 people who killed your friend lol. You want that food go get it, go retrieve it.

First of all, damn you got mobbed. 4 styracos is pretty ridiculous. Second, I think this must be combined with the absurdly long growth time to make it truely unplayable. On PvP servers it's kinda fine to get swarmed like that because you don't need to waste many hours to grow a dino, only a few minutes.

Tbf, imo, the only places people really go is hotspots and even then 50% of those people are in GP or IC so its hard to find people at all sometimes, and if you do you still risk getting jumped because like in this video, people will appear solo but they have like 5 friends 3 points of interest away that’ll run over to help because they can’t just stay together like grouped up people should be doing.
Honestly, this game actually blows. It's literally just the same cycle every time you try and play. spawn in try to do quests make a TINY amount of progress get killed by some sweaty kill-hungry loser because I dared to be in his line of sight lose around multiple quests worth of xp repeat It's incredibly tiring when you literally are incapable of progressing because there are people who are simply against the concept of being a decent human being and allowing people to play the game. If it's for a quest, whatever. But there is no reason for THREE ADULT TRIKES to gang up on me when I'm a baby spino minding my own business. At first I assumed I was getting a cool dinosaur survival game with a small, yet great, dev team. In reality, the devs seem to be completely against making the game more approachable, what with the game itself is nearly impossible to progress in unless you have a gang of fully grown adults just to try to ward off any KOSer, who might still kill you anyways and then run away. And even if you somehow manage to avoid death completely, it'll still take around 50 fucking quests just to complete one growth stage, a little less if you log off in a cave and log on the next day. Dying will take away the progress of something like 6 or so quests, which is way too god damned much progress to lose just for dying to some tryhard. The game literally punishes you for being unlucky enough to come across certain other players. And yes, I understand that it is a PvP game. This has not eluded me, I promise you. But the PvP isn't fun when you can't even participate in it in any other way than "free xp". I desperately want this game to be good, but by God the devs almost seem to want that to never happen.

Dude I'm more of a solo person for the most part u can grow by urself not impossible. Don't go to hotspots or near hotspots when your growing another thing that just plan dumb to do so. Also only lose half a growth bar is not that much of a death penalty.
Well this aint even from the worse end. I had 4 Rexes with a Duck camping RL and killing everyone even daring to try to go for the homecave. After that i went to Cascades just to find out there was a pack of bootleg Carno's doing the same.
I feel like officials should have the smallest amount of passive growth they can have, that way people aren't relying on it exactly but it can still assist in the growth of new players or when someone if having a hard time
They need to make it more fun for single player mode like adding a bunch of dinos allover the Map and making the growing easier and a little faster. I hate mixpacking and sore lovers, 5 on 1 , 3 on 1 etc.

Probably because PoT allows you to save your creatures and multiple others, plus the ability to mixpack and bring players to you if you have a waystone. Isle is basically grow 1 creature and move around and find people and hope they’re friendly, if you die then you have to grow again for an hour or more.
Your own fault man. You had more than 1 opportunity to flee but got greedy and chose to fight all 3. The moment the big one showed up you died you just didn’t know it. This is why I love latens and ceratos they’re perfectly suited for evading situations like this.

But near the gp lake there’s a spot where dasps can walk on the water like Jesus. You just need experience to easily take advantage of a situation like this. Dasp is about as fast as an allo and I’ve escaped many gang bang attempts in gp like this one it’s common sense that a medium sized dinosaur with low agility and weaker stats won’t feel confident enough to attack a dasp unless there’s more of them lagging behind it. So always avoid confrontation or keep and eye on the surroundings. People in this game have major skill issues when it comes to avoiding hits from the enemy this is typically a behavior seen among people who rely to much on groups and didn’t grow a Dino on their own. Playing alone is like playing on hardcore you can’t risk any hits and have good kiting skills and invest your stamina very wisely because you won’t have a buddy taking over and providing distraction while you’re getting jumped.
I play officials because it’s convenient and there isn’t any rules I have to keep in mind. That being said, there’s definitely a few frustrating moments and I have to be REALLY careful, especially in open areas. But the few solo fights I have are fun and it’s nice being able to group with whoever you bump into as long as you have the same diet. But yeah, the mega packs are definitely annoying.
Personally, I play Official because community is mostly boring (love the long growth) but it gets annoying when you just wanna grind for a skin and some assholes kill you just because
Just avoid hot spots. I play solo in locations where there are few players, in Duo I go around hot spots but I don't go there unless I really want to die, which sometimes happens.

I am one of them and every time i play official servers, there are 80 + players on the servers, most days it's up to 90 players. Just saying, your title is extremely inaccurate.
You were walking alone in the grand plains and you got attacked by a herd. They were not mixpacking, this very same thing could very much have happened in real life. (Buffalo's VS Lions), ( Moose VS Bear), herbivores can be extremely aggressive. Grand plains is one of the biggest hot spots in Gondwa and when you go there alone you have to be ready and willing to be attacked .
I remember that one time I spawned as a baby Amarg in Gp and immediately got snatched by a sarco running by to get to the water. I escaped but dear lord I hightailed my heavy ass out of there so fast 😂

Unfortunately, dasp has low mobility due to stamina consumption, if you want to play solo and fight at the same time, I advise you to try pycno/mega/hatz or ahilo. They are capable of both fighting and running away from 90% of opponents (except for their kind and very stubborn mixpacks)

@@CatchThesesHands It's more about the dinosaur you're playing on. Unfortunately, dasp has low mobility due to stamina consumption, if you want to play solo and fight at the same time, I advise you to try pycno/mega/hatz or ahilo. They are capable of both fighting and running away from 90% of opponents (except for their kind and very stubborn mixpacks)
You people over react so much about officel like it's just not true it's just skill issue like yes mix and mega packs are annoying to deal with but its not it's happening awery single time like you all always complain and say I grown awery single Dino in officel so its definitely not impossible to grow
