- Namaste! I'm Dr. Robert, and in today's "5ish Minutes with Dr. Robert," we explore the powerful story of the goddess Durga. 🕉️
Durga, whose name means "she who is difficult to reach," embodies the ultimate form of transcendent Shakti. Her story is central to the Durga Saptashati, where she is invoked to defeat the buffalo demon Mahishasura-a symbol of tamas, ego, and inertia. Emerging from the combined energies of all the gods, Durga represents the force that destroys both external and internal ego-driven forces that disrupt harmony.
With her many arms, weapons, and divine strength, Durga rides a lion and slays Mahishasura, representing the triumph over ego and the alignment with universal truth. Durga is especially worshipped during the autumnal Navaratri, a time to gather Shakti and overcome the stagnant parts of our personality.

I humbly ask, how can we know what should be concealed, and what is okay to share with others?
Probably mostly comes down to who is asking and who is sharing right
But how could it be concealed anyways when the self alone exists all pervasively as truth, knowledge and bliss/ paramatma
You and historically other sadhakas have been a shining reflection of such fragrant ambrosial knowledge
Yet others have recommended a great deal of concealment and insist we will lose our progress and be stricken with dullness or complete destruction
Where do you stand on this please

Somebody correct me if you know more about this fascinating subject than I do. In one part of the video is Dr Robert Svoboda trying to say that your Ahamkara or Ego is what holds your physical body together so that you can feel through it (accumulating experiences) and that if you were able to totally disidentify from your Ahamkara or Ego that would be the end of your physical existence? If this happened and you lost your physical body because you managed to disidentify 100% from your Ahamkara or Ego, what is supposed to happen to you? Where would you go?
You will get moksha. You will merge with universal consciousness ( or source)
