That Mercedes they're riding in, BTW, was left behind by Gen'l von Falkenhorst at the end of the Occupation. The 1939 Buick that followed was gifted to Crown Princess Märta on her visit to the US by GM; it is still in service there and in occasional use. Later, QJ is seen getting out of a 1931 Lincoln that is also seen at the end, at the airport; the Lincoln - a lovely two-tone blue - is extant, in private hands outside Oslo. And at 4:54 and again in the next glimpse with a car is the 1942 Packard LeBaron Limousine (I recognize it by the door handles) that is still in Royal Garage. It was bought new (in St Louis) for King Haakon in the waning months of the war.
