As a 17 year old who grew up on Mario (I was 15 when this movie came out), I LOVE how they played the Super Mario Bros. Super Show rap in the beginning! Nice callback to my childhood show lmao. I guess I was the only one who grew up with that show, since I was the one singing along in the theaters. I love how they played the DK Rap when Donkey Kong was introduced. Nice to see Cat Mario & the clear pipes!! Nice Super Mario 3D World incoporation they put in the movie. AND they played Gusty Garden in the credits roll?? I was about to cry from the nostalgia.
