What a difference! A holy procession through the streets, the opposite of the violent attacks of yelling & destroying property. God bless each person honoring Corpus Christi..
Amongst a sea of chaos, especially in NYC, is still a procession like no other, that breaks through the noise and chaos, with the light of our Lord Jesus Christ.
This scene made me cry. It's like seeing a few of the remnants that remained faithful to God in a world that became indifferent to Him. I pray for the renewal of Christians, for conversions. Have mercy on us Lord, forgive us.
And yet when I look at it, I think: the great majority of these people have never seen Him. I did notice some minority of people looking on quite solemnly, or looking very much. And meanwhile I noticed the profane backdrop of the streets of NYC, e.g., the taxis with their "WAR" signs, and I pray that surely for some of the passersby, sooner or later, the grace of having had the Most Blessed Sacrament right out there in the streets with them, will be catching in their hearts.
Corpus Christi. I love how peaceful it makes me feel to see this happening amidst the chaos of late. I am Catholic and live in Papua New Guinea, and can say this largely Christian country has thousands turn out for the Good Friday Stations of the Cross. It renews my feeling of belonging and the air is filled with the power of God when thousands pray with as one. Unity is powerful undeniably.

I admit, I didn’t even know we were suppose to genuflect in the pew if the Blessed Sacrament is in the center of the tabernacle. No one taught me. I didn’t even know about the Tridentine or Traditional Latin Mass. I’ve reached the age of reasoning and find the TLM so beautiful and very Catholic. No other Church can compare this beautiful tradition. Why oh why did they have to take it away?! I felt like I was robbed of a beautiful tradition.
DearlyBelovedofGod Matthew 26:17-30 Now on the first day of Unleavened Bread the disciples came to Jesus and asked, "Where do You want us to prepare for You to eat the Passover?" And He said, "Go into the city to a certain man, and say to him, 'The Teacher says, "My time is near; I am to keep the Passover at your house with My disciples."'" The disciples did as Jesus had directed them; and they prepared the Passover. Mark 14:22-24 While they were eating, He took some bread, and after a blessing He broke it, and gave it to them, and said, "Take it; this is My body." And when He had taken a cup and given thanks, He gave it to them, and they all drank from it. And He said to them, "This is My blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many. Luke 13:26 "Then you will begin to say, 'We ate and drank in Your presence, and You taught in our streets'; Luke 22:19-20 And when He had taken some bread and given thanks, He broke it and gave it to them, saying, "This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me." And in the same way He took the cup after they had eaten, saying, "This cup which is poured out for you is the new covenant in My blood. John 6:35 Jesus said to them, "I am the bread of life; he who comes to Me will not hunger, and he who believes in Me will never thirst. John 6:51 "I am the living bread that came down out of heaven; if anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread also which I will give for the life of the world is My flesh." John 6:53-57 So Jesus said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in yourselves. "He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day. "For My flesh is true food, and My blood is true drink. John 13:1-4 Now before the Feast of the Passover, Jesus knowing that His hour had come that He would depart out of this world to the Father, having loved His own who were in the world, He loved them to the end. During supper, the devil having already put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon, to betray Him, Jesus, knowing that the Father had given all things into His hands, and that He had come forth from God and was going back to God Acts 2:42 They were continually devoting themselves to the apostles' teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Acts 2:46-47 Day by day continuing with one mind in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they were taking their meals together with gladness and sincerity of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people And the Lord was adding to their number day by day those who were being saved. Acts 20:7 On the first day of the week, when we were gathered together to break bread, Paul began talking to them, intending to leave the next day, and he prolonged his message until midnight. 1 Corinthians 10:16-17 Is not the cup of blessing which we bless a sharing in the blood of Christ? Is not the bread which we break a sharing in the body of Christ? Since there is one bread, we who are many are one body; for we all partake of the one bread. 1 Corinthians 10:21-22 You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons; you cannot partake of the table of the Lord and the table of demons. Or do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? We are not stronger than He, are we? 1 Corinthians 11:20-34 Therefore when you meet together, it is not to eat the Lord's Supper, for in your eating each one takes his own supper first; and one is hungry and another is drunk. What! Do you not have houses in which to eat and drink? Or do you despise the church of God and shame those who have nothing? What shall I say to you? Shall I praise you? In this I will not praise you.

Me too 🙏
Beautiful!!This is the best Church in NYC and the one I had the great honor to attend when I lived in NYC. This literally brought me to tears!❤❤
Beautiful. Christ reigning supreme now and forever. Amen.
Amen&Amen!!
What a difference! A holy procession through the streets, the opposite of the violent attacks of yelling & destroying property. God bless each person honoring Corpus Christi..
Beautiful
I am so proud to be CATHOLIC
Sending love and STRENGTH from IRELAND 🙋🙏🕯
Watching from Sweden 💖💞🌸 God bless America . Praise be to God. Amen
Most important of all: let's remember to pray for them at our next Adorations!
Thank you SO much for posting this! Most Sacred Heart of Jesus 💖 have mercy on us!
Praise the Lord. Thank you Jesus. Hallelujah 🙏🙏🙏🌹🌹🌹💒🌹🌹🌹

Extraordinarily beautiful procession, thank you so much for posting. Rgds from Ireland...
May God Bless American Catholic, Amen!
This procession also takes place yearly in St. Ann Church on Tonnele Avenue in Jersey City, NJ.
Gorgeous - and through the streets of NYC as well. Thank you for such a beautiful video, God Bless.

Gorgeous indeed!😇
Am overwhelmed by the display of faith and belief in the Holy Sacrament, the Body and Blood of our Lord and Saviour
I love being Catholic because everywhere you go you’re always gathered together like a family
To the one who posted this and the Church of the Holy Innocents of New York..God bless...❤❤❤❤💜💜💖💖💖💖💖💖💖its so beautiful..I love this video..Thank You..
Marching proudly through the heart of the beast. God bless you.
@ateb3 Na, not LA we're pretty Catholic. There are tons of churches and missions throughout our state. Most non Catholics I know come from the Midwest and the East.

Beautiful video. This Church was a part of my conversion back. Something was bugging me about finding a TLM and I went to Holy Innocents. I travelled an hour, went to mass & tears starting streaming down my face. my life is so different now. Blessed be God forever.
Praise the Lord!
May the Presence of God be felt by everyone!
Blessed be God Forever! xxx
Glory to you oh Bread of Life, I ADORE thee !
God bless Holy Innocents parishioners. It's great to know and see that this Tradition is alive still. Please do it again and again.

Just beautiful. I wish I could give it 100 thumbs-up.
@Raul BernalThanks for calling my attention to all the thumbs-up. It really was a very well-done video, and I only wish that all Catholic churches had public processions.
the modern people need god.
Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!
One day i shall visit there for an EF missal!
From Singapore.
I write from Italy. All you do is really wonderful: in a big city where everyone runs and goes alone, for a moment it stops us even for Jesus. God bless you
I, too, revived the procession in my years in Brussels, as the pastor of the Church of the Sacred Heart ! Beautiful reactions ensued...
Beautiful, thanks for posting this.
Not one person knelt in the streets at the sight of our Lord. It’s a shame
i'm catholic...but i don't understand what u mean plz explain thank ü
Ezzie em It is out of reverence that those who are not part of the procession kneel at the sight of the blessed sacrament in order to give honor to jesus
@@melman7738 the holy eucharist is actually Jesus and actually God if we met God don't you think you would kneel
@@polmacbradaigh9506 isn't it a man made object though? did the israelites kneel to the Ark of the covenant? sorry I don't know alot. Could u plz give me the bible verse for the creation of the sacrament? Thank you

how wonderful to share Christ with the world, the reaction by the people on the street was one of wonder, worship, reverence, awe, and curiosity. It touches one's soul to see such devotion in todays world.

It is so sad that people doesn't adore our Lord.
YES that is so sad...OUR LORD IS PASSING BY AND PEOPLE ARE OBLIVIOUS TO HIS PRESENCE...
Padre beans *don't
DontGiveup I agree. I grew up in the Philippines too, but I rarely see anyone kneel or do the genuflect back then and even now.
@Padre beans
Do not be sad, Brother, it is a question of time :)
The presence of Jesus is beyond our hopes
God blesse you :)

Matthew 26:17-30
Now on the first day of Unleavened Bread the disciples came to Jesus and asked, "Where do You want us to prepare for You to eat the Passover?" And He said, "Go into the city to a certain man, and say to him, 'The Teacher says, "My time is near; I am to keep the Passover at your house with My disciples."'" The disciples did as Jesus had directed them; and they prepared the Passover.
Mark 14:22-24
While they were eating, He took some bread, and after a blessing He broke it, and gave it to them, and said, "Take it; this is My body." And when He had taken a cup and given thanks, He gave it to them, and they all drank from it. And He said to them, "This is My blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many.
Luke 13:26
"Then you will begin to say, 'We ate and drank in Your presence, and You taught in our streets';
Luke 22:19-20
And when He had taken some bread and given thanks, He broke it and gave it to them, saying, "This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me." And in the same way He took the cup after they had eaten, saying, "This cup which is poured out for you is the new covenant in My blood.
John 6:35
Jesus said to them, "I am the bread of life; he who comes to Me will not hunger, and he who believes in Me will never thirst.
John 6:51
"I am the living bread that came down out of heaven; if anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread also which I will give for the life of the world is My flesh."
John 6:53-57
So Jesus said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in yourselves. "He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day. "For My flesh is true food, and My blood is true drink.
John 13:1-4
Now before the Feast of the Passover, Jesus knowing that His hour had come that He would depart out of this world to the Father, having loved His own who were in the world, He loved them to the end. During supper, the devil having already put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon, to betray Him, Jesus, knowing that the Father had given all things into His hands, and that He had come forth from God and was going back to God
Acts 2:42
They were continually devoting themselves to the apostles' teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.
Acts 2:46-47
Day by day continuing with one mind in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they were taking their meals together with gladness and sincerity of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people And the Lord was adding to their number day by day those who were being saved.
Acts 20:7
On the first day of the week, when we were gathered together to break bread, Paul began talking to them, intending to leave the next day, and he prolonged his message until midnight.
1 Corinthians 10:16-17
Is not the cup of blessing which we bless a sharing in the blood of Christ? Is not the bread which we break a sharing in the body of Christ? Since there is one bread, we who are many are one body; for we all partake of the one bread.
1 Corinthians 10:21-22
You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons; you cannot partake of the table of the Lord and the table of demons. Or do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? We are not stronger than He, are we?
1 Corinthians 11:20-34
Therefore when you meet together, it is not to eat the Lord's Supper, for in your eating each one takes his own supper first; and one is hungry and another is drunk. What! Do you not have houses in which to eat and drink? Or do you despise the church of God and shame those who have nothing? What shall I say to you? Shall I praise you? In this I will not praise you.
Que lindo ver essa procissão solene em meio a uma cidade tão grande onde muitos não conhecem Jesus.
