I think the range is fairly accurate though at lower speeds. I weigh around 175-180lbs with all my gear on and I managed to get 20.3 miles before the remote started vibrating on me. The caveat to that though is I was riding like 10-15 mph probably closer to an average of 12mph for most of it. The website does say that under good conditions with a 178 lb rider going 15mph that they got a range of 18 miles. The specs they post are actually achievable and not too farfetched. Unlike the wild claims euc manufacturers make that require unrealistically ideal conditions. Basically need to a 100lb naked Asian girl on a hot day with a backdraft on perfectly flat ground and the tire pressure pumped so high its like riding on a rock. I've found even at slow speeds under ideal conditions I'd only get 25 miles on my euc when they claimed it could do 35. I definitely won't get 20 miles at higher speeds but just knowing it's actually possible is good enough for me
The Lycaon board has two 750W motors (1500W total) 32 MPH top speed and 30+ miles of range and it’s on sale right now for $470. I bought one two years ago when they were $700. It’s been amazing with zero issues. The belt version is $20 more and has 1700W max. It also has a WAY larger battery, 466WH vs 280 on this one. The hub version is 100% silent. The only thing better about this board is the wheel size, the lycaon is 90MM, but you can buy 105MM cloud wheels.

Question to anyone who rides... what is more important for comfortable city riding (specifically going overcracks), larger wheel size or a more flexible board? I figure the larger wheels will be less phased by a crack, but you'll feel less of the crack with a more absorbant board. People with experience, which is more important?
