I agree these colors go together well. They both have a natural stone vibe. Love the color blocking tutorial. They turned out so beautiful! Thanks for this!
I can't get enough of this mani! I have lost count how many times I've seen this lol... The color combination and with the gold accent is *chefs kiss* it's perfect! xo
Fred flintstone is what they remind me of Absolutely love them! Have both those colors may try this myself ! Got a new subscriber and will tell my dip friends thank you so so much easy to see and hear you. Easy to follow !
I love these colors together and have similar ones I may have to try something similar!😊 The colors remind me of pottery or like brick/stone buildings because of the terracotta color with the stone look gray! ♥️
Another idea, if you're willing to pay a bit more, is detailing tape for car art. It's about 1/4 to 1/8 inch used for pinstriping. Likely, you'll have to get on line or at a car parts store, but it will be much easier to "detail" as it will curve and leave a great, distinct line.
Can you use peel off base coat on dipped nails after applying dip for a base natural color, then use peel base, then your dip powder color you like? so you can peel off just the top colored layers?
I never would have thought to put these colors together but they are beautiful! I loved seeing how you did the nail tape too. I haven’t done that enough and the last time I tried it didn’t turn out to great 🤪
I absolutely 🖤 your content and love this mani!! I would have never thought to put those two colors together, but they look amazing together...nice call!! Btw....I’m definitely going to have to get those colors.... they are 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Also, I can’t believe you’re not a professional nail tech🤩 and do you think you’ll do videos using Builder Gel/PolyGel? I would 🖤 to see that.
Thank you so much 😍 I certainly can! And no not professional just obsessed hobbyist 😅 I'm currently in school or I probably would have gotten licensed by now :)
What striping tape do you use? Any color of striping tape I've tried to use with base bond always bleeds and doesn't have great stick. Great video! I always learn so much watching your videos!
Thank you! This was one I got from Amazon a long time ago. Tapes with brighter or darker colors definitely bleed more. You can prevent this by topping with a gel base coat or a smudge free top coat before adding more dip base as it's the resins that cause the bleeding :)
How do you remove your dips? Have you ever tried any of those brush on, flake off liquids? Are there any that work well if you don't want to be soaking in acetone for 15 minutes at a time?
I have a removal video. Normal soak off is 5 to 10 for me. Now though, I have been doing builder gel on the natural nail, gel top, then peel base and dip. I haven't soaked in a month at least.
@@MelissasManis Hey thanks for the response. I just watched your removal video with the hot water. I will try that for sure. I apologize I did not fully understand the second half of your reply! I am far from an expert so you lost me ....lol were you saying you have been using different products (is builder gel like polygel?) and putting a gel top coat and curing and THEN putting dip base coat and still dipping and them also adding dip top coat? That's a lot of layers...if you haven't been soaking are you filing that away?
I have been building a base with builder gel, similar to polygel but thinner. Then I do a gel top and cure it so there's a smooth surface. Then I apply 2 layers of peel base, let dry, and dip as usual. This way I can pop the dip off and keep the builder gel on the nail. Then o just have to fill the bg and I can do the whole process over. I don't file down or soak anymore
Finally someone who has a lot of tutorials of dip powder on NATURAL nails!! 🙌🏼 you got a new subscriber! ❤️
Thank you! Yes I will always stick with natural nails if I can!
I agree these colors go together well. They both have a natural stone vibe. Love the color blocking tutorial. They turned out so beautiful! Thanks for this!
This reminds me of 101 Dalmatians and I love it! Super cute and perfect for fall 🍂🍁
I can't get enough of this mani! I have lost count how many times I've seen this lol... The color combination and with the gold accent is *chefs kiss* it's perfect! xo
Easier way is to apply the tape, then base, then remove tape, then dip. It allows the dip powder to dry without being damaged 😊 love the set though!
Love the color block and the color combo, I'll definitely be trying this method thank you for such easily explained videos.
This look has me in the mood for fall 😍
Well done! I admire your patience 😊.
Yay!! So happy I found your tutorials! I just got in to dip nails and I’m having so much fun but need some ideas and tips. Thank youuuu!!
Yaayyy! Dip is so much fun 😊 You're welcome!

It took me a few times to get it down! And as you saw it still messes up sometimes. But most mess ups can be fixed!
Absolutely stunning I love your color choices I’m definitely going to try

It's possible she is no longer carrying it? This was from last fall :(

I love your videos but can you please tell me the name of polish like clear coat please say base or clear coat when applying thank you
I usually say it before I apply. With dip there's a base resin and a top coat resin that's only used for top coat. Hope that helps
I love this! I just ordered nail dip :) where can I find these colors?!
These colors come from Dipped in Sparkles! I left a link in the description 😊
This is so stunning.
Thank you 😍
Do you find this system doesn’t gum up as badly when you activate and top coat? I’m having a bugger of a time with Kiara Sky
Yes! It doesn't gum up at all and I dont even wait 30s after activating. Definitely very user friendly!
Where did you get your cuticle pusher?
Right here amzn.to/3dJxrCA :)
So talented
Thank you so much!! :) Any suggestions for a future video?
@@MelissasManis I'm a very beginner/ DIY person, but I would lover learn about gems on nails 💓💓💓💓

Have you tried using thin washi tape? Just an idea.
I usually just use whatever I have on hand. Id be willing to try it though!
how do you keep your nails so healthy?
I try not to over file them, really that's all! I use cuticle oil but that mostly just helps the cuticles
