Suiryu requires you to be close to land 1st and 4th move and the 3rd move requires them to also be close at least a little the only one that could reach high distances is vanishing kick which is very hard to land on moving targets and if missed its easily punishable, tatsumaki is easily blockable since you can block 3 moves of her moveset and the only move that's not blockable is expulsive push which is easily punishable if you didn't click it twice quickly and the insane AOE of genos literally defeats its purpose, metal bat has 1 blockable move that could reach high distance and highly predictable the moves that could reach from far are ground slam which needs insane distance and can be dodge able, and foul ball which is also easily dodge able and cancelable the only one that's close to be valid here is metal bat but requires skill and can be defeated by a genos that has the capability to think
M1s are not passive. Passive is different ability that other don't have. Everyone have 4th m1 and uppercut, but only Genos have cooldown reset and damage on ragdoll cancel
@justananimefan495 the ragdoll cancel is a ragdoll cancel. Just with something added to differ from other ones. Same with his m1's. Why say his ragdoll is different then a regular ragdoll, and then say his 4th m1 arent different from regular 4th m1s. Because it clearly is and counts as something new, thus a passive.
first character I ever mained was genos, mainly because they had a more long range playstyle at least compared to other characters, but I found them boring to play as so I switched to wild psychic, and then to my current main hero hunter. I did play as sonic for a while, but they were also super boring, and had a really low skill ceiling so I stopped playing as them.
I counteract the tatsumaki arguement with the fact that you most of the time get to m1 combo inbetween abilities (which is about 12 damage each time) and you can do this inbetween every move. so her combos (which are easily strung together and you usually use all 4 moves) usually end up at 60-80% damage. Whole contrasting with genos, who usually has about 1 or two abilities in a combo and doesn’t very often get to m1 between said abilities.
I'm pretty sure his ragdoll cancel IS blockable though, but that doesn't excuse the rest of his wild moveset. I love Genos as a character (and I like burning stuff) but I can't make myself play him because of his insane power. I substitute this by playing blade master (who also is kinda cracked, come to think of it a lot of characters are op, this could be a content farm for you)

You still take knockback from blitz and jet dive, but hardly and damage. the first part of ignition burst is unblockable if you get hit by the shockwave.
Sonic and Genos are the best imo. Both can cook enemy both in 1vs1 and against multiple people (Genos is better at attacking because of passive, Sonic is even harder to catch because of mobility he gets from skills and passive)

i usually use every character to keep a variety but i do also kinda main genos. i personally feel like that if genos got his damage winded down then there wouldn’t need to be anything changed about him. his cool-down passive is his main passive, so fair enough that it’s op, and either way it’s only good in group situations 1v1 it obviously does nothing. his ragdoll passive can be blocked and is predictable so it isn’t that op at all. his 4th m1 range while good never really has helped in any situation with extending combos or doing extra damage. with this in mind it’s why i think genos is only overpowered due to easy use and high damage. sorry for yapping just wanted to say my piece.
Ignition burst is the most broken move in game, and I say that as a hardcore Genos main. It's not Blitz shot because you can block all damage, and charged is physically impossible to land. But for some reason, 4 m1s into ragdolled ignition burst deals 40 ENTIRE PERCENT, AND ALLOWS YOU TO EXTEND AFTER THE FACT WITH A FRONT DASH. Also remove the dumb ragdoll cancel please, I don't agree with that existing either

Flashstrike doesn't do damage and its blockable & counterable easily and you can't combo extend using it unless in rare cases and whirlwind kick almost never hits because if the opponent has delay they can just walk out of it ... Only scatter and explosive shuriken carry this moveset and still doesn't really make it overpowered since explosive shuriken can't combo extend it can just make some extra damage

This is a good video, but it kinda has some flaws ignition burst has a different damage output depending on how far the enemy is from you as a compensation for having 3 braindead easy to hit aoe moves, literally every single moves are blockable which HEAVILY reduces the damage(except for the full charged blitz shot, which is acceptable since it takes a lot of time to fully charge it) the reason why tatsumaki has so low dmg output is cause they mostly rely on m1 damage on their combos the cooldown reset passive is op for public servers(what actually makes genos fun to play for me), but in a 1v1 or duels its just useless genos' ragdoll cancel actually has a bit of a startup, and that delay gets you on ragdoll countering(ragdoll cancel and m1ing to start a combo the enemy) and the damage is really low so its heavily situational if its benefitable or not but yeah still a good addition to genos' kit but def not broken as for the combo, the 4th m1 is easily blockable and you cannot do a downslam either cause the opponment wakes up too early enough to dash away, ignition burst m1 extender is sadly true iirc but you gotta be really precise(not too slow and not too fast), also blitz shot is blockable after jet dive too side note:you never met an actual good atomic samurai player smh(most pros play saitama or garou so yeah) fuck genos players who run though, absolute skill issue thank you for listening (or not) to my yapping session‼️

@@Notheew another reason why I like to use sonic and tatsumaki. Tatsumaki has good mobility and can get u with the pull or stone crush. Sonic is mostly known for his bad users that only run. But thats thanks to his great mobility and speed.

I'd also like to mention you can use Ignition Burst to get airborne, combined with a full charge blitz shot to dodge entire ult moves
