    I made this video for viewers who asked me how to make their Aloe Vera propagate faster, or how to make their Aloe Vera produce pups. Although Aloe Vera will produce many pups in time, there are ways to make it faster. For those new in Aloe Vera plant care, I would recommend the second option in the video - just cover the expose trunk with good soil and your Aloe Vera will produce baby pups on its side. Thank you very much for watching.

    • @TheAloeVeraGarden
      @TheAloeVeraGarden  3 ปีที่แล้ว +19

      Wow, good to know. You will have Aloe Vera farm in the future. You know those 3 pups will also produce pups when they separate from their mother plant. Your Aloe Vera will multiply exponentially. 😁😁😁😁 I started with only five, now they are like grass in my rooftop.

    Thanks for this. Got my first ever aloe plant today as a gift from my husband after seeing how many aloe-related products I’ve bought over time for their medicinal and beauty-related uses, and I got to thinking … how cool would it be to have my whole sunroom be full of aloe plants in a few year’s time? Yes, please.
    Immediately came to YT to see what I could do to make that happen, and found your channel. I’m going to try to do this in the upcoming days with the plant I have now. I’ve never been good at having a green thumb, but determined with this plant lol.

    Thank you for this video. When is it a good idea to separate each aloe vera plant from each other? I have 7 plants (small) in one pot and I don't know if I should plant them in different pots? Also,is it a bad idea to put stones in the bottom of the pot and then add soil? I experience planta going yellow

    • @TheAloeVeraGarden
      @TheAloeVeraGarden  3 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      It's okay to put stones at the bottom of the pot if your pot is deep. Stones will help the water drains fast. This way, you can water your aloe vera more frequent. As to when to separate pups, you can separate them anytime you want, or wait for the pups to separate by themselves like in this video th-cam.com/video/bkJhRmmutc0/w-d-xo.html

    I'm trying this because I'm currently failing my first Aleo Vera plant. I read that they don't need to be watered daily, but only when the soil is dry, but 9 guess because its so darn hot out here, it needed a bit more water. I was always somehow, not giving it enough water, then I was giving it too much water. I wanna start over from the beginning since I didn't have any guidance first. Now I do. 🥰😭

    • @priyeshsd
      @priyeshsd 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ever since I started watering my aloe plant daily, it is growing fast, the leaves are thicker & bigger. It also gave 3 new pups which I have separated in different pots and they’re growing well too. I’m not sure why people say wait till the soil is dry, may be because they use smaller pots? The secret is to water daily in moderation and use a larger pot.

    • @TheAloeVeraGarden
      @TheAloeVeraGarden  3 ปีที่แล้ว +40

      You can use banana peel as fertilizer but not the fresh peel because it might cause root rot. Fungus and bacteria loves fresh peels. You can add banana peel to your compost and use the compost to your Aloe vera plant. :)

I'm starting the think the company my local cvs pharmacy gets them from modified the genetics to where they wont produce an abundance of pups so you go back to the store and buy more which in return would give them more profit. just my wild imagination 😂😂. What kind of sand or dirt do you use to plant your aloe vera. Is it loamy soil, sandy soil or clay soil?

    • @TheAloeVeraGarden
      @TheAloeVeraGarden  3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      It is sandy loam soil. A mixture of garden soil, compost soil and sand.

    My heart skipped a beat when he cut the roots with the plant , it takes months and years for that to grow so tall 😢😢😂😂😂😂😂😂 my god, the pain can be understood only by the person who uses aloe daily😂😂

      I knew that feeling when I started with only a handful of plants and didn't know much about aloe vera. Now I have almost a hectare of it and know very well the plant. I know it's not going to die and will multiply instead.
