Iv been on the xr pro since the very first ones came to Europe back in mid September, before that I was on the xr 8 since they came out, the weight difference is not huge, but the difference between the two kits is huge,
The wind range with Aluula is crazy especially the high end, they literally suck up strong gusts like nothing I have ever tried before, no matter how overpowered they stay in perfect shape and I’m nearly 100kg, none of the flapping wing tips like heavy riders get on other kites like the orbit when over powered. Looping and catching they are like a kite 1 or 2m smaller compared to the regular xr. The kite reaction to steering input is like putting racing suspension on your car,
Core could have made the kites lighter if they wanted to like some other brands have by stripping more weight of trailing edge etc, but instead opted to keep the kite strong and durable like the regular xr8. I like that to be honest, when you pay as much for a kite as you do for any Aluula kite, you want it to last, I have seen other brands Aluula kites starting to fall to bits after just a few months use as they tried to make the kites too light and quality suffered because of it.
Before trying an Aluula kite myself I thought it was all sales talk etc about how good they are, all I can say is aluula is different levels,
I had 7, 9, 11m and 13.5m in the regular xr, I swapped the 7,9 and 11 for 8 and 10m in Aluula and have both better low and high end with the two kites compared to having 3 regular kites, which is fantastic for travelling,
Aluula is definitely the future, which is the reason more or less all kite brands are now buying into it,
Definitely recommend trying one if you have the chance to do so,
Ps I will be swapping my 13.5m xr8 for a 12m xr pro aswell, these kits are definitely levels

I've been waiting for a review from you for a long time! Thank you ! I have 12 pro and there’s just a big difference with the regular xr .. and I have a review .. The question is that everyone unanimously says that the pumped-up kite from alula shows even better results in speed and pick-up? I have much faster transfer times in luach on 12 pro, but how did 8 perform?

Could you help me understand the differences between the 12m 5 strut Flite and 12m XR Pro.
I have owned many XRs and have a quiver of XR7s.
I also own A-series 3 strut Flite 17m & 14.5m- outstanding light wind big kites.
I recently added a 12m Flite, I love the way it flies, but am concerned about its durability- it just blew a strut bladder (similar issue to my 17m- both new kites), makes it hard for me to trust them, plus it feels much less durable than my Cores.
I find the XR7 13.5m and 11m a bit sluggish compared to my OR kites.
I’m considering switching the 12m Flite 5 strut for the XR Pro- what can I expect?

Can you compare the trigger frommfone with any bigair Kite

How does it compare to a 5 strut Flite? I have XR7’s for smaller sizes and Flites for larger sizes. Trying to figure out next choice for smaller sizes.

Hello… thanks for this review. I tried the 12m, from 10 to 26 knots. I never saw the top. 10knots is not bad for a 96kg rider. Quick one, How does it compare to the Evo d\lab in your opinion?

Hi, Despite the similarities in materials, the kites feel completely different. Ultimately, both are Big air kites. While the Evo Dlab is much more versatile, the Xr Pro noticeably jumps higher with ease.

Ocean Rodeo 8m Rise weight 2,2kg. That should make a difference!

What Aluula kite in the 13-14m range is the most playful and easy to boost high?

      @marijngade5403 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

for boosting high a 13/14 is not the size but i think only the hypermodel (reedin) and d-lab (duotone) are made in those big sizes

@@marijngade5403 the Naish Pivot Nvision also comes in a 14. I'm 108 kgs, so I need a bigger kite than you, so which one do you think is easiest to boost high on?

Could you guy's do the weight on the 10 and 12, so far I find the larger sizes more interesting for aluula since the smal ones are fast anyway

Not the weight but the stiffer airframe is what gives the performance🤘

6.5% is alot I think. Immagine if your 6.5% lighter, that would be significant. Super nice that they put them on the scale.

I also think, the smaller the kites, the smaller also the relative weight difference, because they still need all the vents and valves and so on. Also, I think the smaller the kite, the less important their weight tends to be, because they tend to be flown in more wind. I was irritated also at first by the small difference but I think it makes sense. And as I'm living on a beach with rough sand, I also value ruggedness of my kites a lot.

That's a great kite. In a world without Duotone.

The duotone d lab has a lot more weight difference , for me the best kite of all
