I love these earlier one's as they aren't to hard for people to copy. Although the newer stuff is phenomenal normal everyday people with no real art experience would struggle.

From what I know acrylic paint dries rather fast, so I think it's all painted non-stop, plus doesn't it just feel better to finish the whole painting in one sitting?
You can do what is called wet on wet which is great if you want to blend or have some heavy texture. Just a plain old hairdryer between coats to speed up drying if you want to get on with it a lot quicker.
