Sorry doc, but your scenes with the leading lady are nothing compared to this. Even with no skinship, only the brutal honesty, the passion for the baduk, and those intense glares exchanged between these two and I'm sold.

There is something really strong between them, something unsaid, something unexplainable. He looks at her as if he wants to follow her wherever she is going, whatever she is doing, while he is totally diff with his wife - the intensity is absent with his wife. The female lead didnt even do much to capture his attention, all she did was sit silently and play GO and win. He was attracted to her on his own as if it was meant to be. I want to see more between them

This relationship is well written. These characters seem to have an understanding between them even without any words, because their eyes speak instead. It's rare to see this kind of connection in a drama in my opinion. It's a lot about the chemistry between the actors as well. These two are definitely a good match. From the moment I saw them in the screen at the same time, I felt drawn to them and even more so as the story went on. I hope the writer will not ruin this beautiful connection.

From the moment he first met her until the end of the last episode, the way he looks at her is just so very beautiful somehow. The eyes, it's all in the eyes. 💞💕

I feel like he d be neutral in all of it. Like, this is your mess, your problem. He would feel like shes gonna suceed un her revenge, so hes tryna prepare himself and the daughter for the aftermat.
Plus, i think his ark would focus more on protecting his custody and contemplating relation with daughter after finding out the truth.
Their chemistry is through the roof. I guess this is what they call sexual tension? I want more of them in season 2 I mean, the way he looks at her
their chemistry and tension are more rooted in mystery and intelligence tbh.
These two are indeed interesting. To see how fascinated do young, who has always been one step ahead in everything, all planned out, was after meeting this kind of woman who has dedicated her whole life on her revenge, well calculated and calm. Even though she had planned to use him as a tool since the start, I feel like he will understand her reasons because at the end she is much more similar to him than his wife whom he married only for his image. This kind of pairing has a lot of potential, but from my drama experience, the writers do not usually handle them well. :/

@J I don't believe that. He was clearly shocked when he found out that his wife was a bully. &He became suspicious of her even though he had some suspicions before already. To me he doesn't seem like a man who would just side with his wife after the truth is out. I agree that he can be dangerous too, he's a man with that influence after all but I hope he uses that to bring his wife & other bullies down and takes the kid, because he does genuinely care for the her. & I hope he becomes allies with dongeun because their romance is highly unlikely because of the setup, but their connection is too amazing to be wasted because of revenge. He has done her nothing wrong after all, even though he married the woman who caused her a trauma.
This is what you really call "chemistry" the two did not even have love scenes, flowery words, not even that close but everyone is shipping them. I love them to be the end game but I know they won't cause for sure he will be part of the loosing team. 🤣

I have to say, though the story was good as it was before, after doyoung x dongeun meeting it became even better. There are actually only a few scenes between these two, but they are always very good. Kudos to the writer, these two indeed are the the most interesting characters of this drama, two master minds. & I am eagerly waiting getting to know doyoung's character even more.

@@Torihappyness Oh, same. I started my kdrama journey in my early teens, before that I watched american shows, but once I got into the kdrama world, there was no end of it. And now I'm soon 30, but kdramas are still my favorites. The way they show human emotions, expressions, the cinematography, the excellent music pieces, I can't describe the feeling, it's just love. 🥀
kdramas are the best. I personally have always loved that there's no need for a zillion of seasons of dragging the story like in americans do. So after netflix, I am a bit upset some dramas are split into seasons also. I wish they would just stick with the original and air all the 16 episodes at once.
This relationship may be the good thing that can come out of this whole revenge situation - kind of the universe’s way of rewarding her misery. I hope he shows her some love - the kind that will fight for her and make her feel that she’s worth it - something no one has shown her. The doctor seems to be invested in helping her but I think he’s got his own issues and sees her as someone beaten and needing of revenge too - something that he is not able to do since the murderer of his father is in jail. He could be projecting.
I feel like there won’t be any romantic future between the two of them (Do young and Dong Eun) since this series is not that type of story. Nevertheless, I hope they develop a strong positive connection that would leave her with a positive feeling at the end.

The best revenge is her husband actually falling for her and wanting to be with her and she falling for him but I don't know I think she's just so upset on her revenge she's not really looking for love for the same time they would be a cute couple and then she would be the step mom to her daughter

I hope they end up together in Season 2/Part2. To be honest, they have better chemistry! I think Song Hye Kyo has better on-screen chemistry with tall mature-looking guys than baby face guys. My favorite leading men for her were Rain and Jo In Sung.

I rewatched the Glory and picked up so much information I missed from the beginning.
There's some guessing that doyoung would be choosing his wife while they seem to have missed out how doyoung is interested in dongeun from the get go even without knowing her at all. Now this seems interesting as he seems to have married yeonjin for superficial reasons and yet he's interested to this unknwon woman right away and now in the name of the game of go, he's holding the whites. I doubt the writer made these scenes between these two only to turn them into enemies.
She is his intellectual equal. His wife is beautiful, sexy and cunning but not an intellectual.
His relationship to his wife is more on the PHYSICAL
His attraction to MDE is MENTAL
On the 2nd part…we will know to whom his EMOTIONAL side will be…😊

very little moments they share in the drama , its all clear that she is approaching him learnt go just for this with a clear aim , he knows at last what she went through and the person that her wife is the culprit who did all this in past , there is something really good vibes between them he know he had a family and everything but when he is with her he just can not resist her presence , what i'm curious and wondering is now he knows everything and was with his wife at the last scene of season 1 , what his actions gonna be in season 2 , will he help dong-eun after knowing all the truth or will he save his wife and daughter by hiding the truth and playing dirty , its clear that even his wife had an affair and is suspicious of her too with that golf guy esp during the cigarette scenes and matching ones , somehow we all know that the daughter is of her and his ex and now he want his daughter back after the DNA result n color blindness lot of secrets are to be unrevealed in part 2 i guess, but yes he loves her and his wife so might forget and just move on with them since its a past , lets hope for the best till season 2 comes . i want dong-eun to have a peaceful life she deserved and can move away with all tortures she had went through in all these years
My guess is he’s going to do what he can to keep his daughter from the color-blind guy, and freeze his wife out. So him and the mc may become allies.
Or he’s going to protect his wife, in order to keep his daughter even though knowing she’s not his. And a game of Go ensues.
Either way, I highly doubt he’s going to end up with the mc. Although I do ship these two.

He is still gonna chose his wife I ahve a feeling. He doesn't really respect people.below him and his answer to what he liked in his wife was she was wearing the least amount of clothes and they were all Gucci.
It may be, but I still doubt he's gonna choose his wife. She has cheated him all these years after all and had another man's child. doyoung's marriage to her is superficial anyway, from the start. There's no real love between them. And then he met a woman who is very different, very interesting, nothing like gucci and without any effort he was drawn to her from the start. I don't expect them to be together, because this isn't a romance drama and ofc there's the doc so the odds are not in favor of this ship anyway. But I do have hopes that these two will become allies/friends because as many of the other viewers have already said, these two have a beautiful connection. And they should slay the bullies, I can't stand any of them really.
He's the type of man who would never forgive being wronged,so hes definitely leaving his wife but he may fight for the child he raised as those two bullies are unfit parents.
Agree, just see from the flower in their poster. His flower color white but look down. Shk flower white but look up. His wife color yellow but look down. True color usually mean our inside heart. But where it looks usually mean our decision. So may be eventhough his heart choose shk, he will decide to defend his wife.
