@@franz009franz Speed is sometimes irrelevant if it does not back up with many other higher stats. Like Beheeyem that has both very high sp atk and sp def.
Yeah I’m pretty sure which 2 pokemons are going to dominate (yeah considering gardevoir is basically the best non-legendary fairy and alakazam is basically a pure psychic alternative)
Indeed. Gallade was excluded. Metagross out of top 5. Malamar had no mention. Indeedee is competitive staple as a non-legendary terrain setter with the all powerful Expanding Force. Also immune to ghost.
Interesting that both different versions of Slowpoke's evolutions end up on this list, and considering 1 of them he didn't count on with Kantoian Slowbro mega-evolution is very fascinating. Although I would say apart from Gardevior and Hatterene, Mr Mime(either versions) is not on this list which I would understand. Next you should either do Ghost or Steel, perferbaly Ghost.
Gardevoir at number 3 and alakazam at number one feels a bit weird to me. Gardevoir has always felt underwhelming when I use it and whist alakazam is strong and fast it has no bulk at all and will be killed by priority. I feel like indeedee f should have been included as it is one of the best Pokemon in vgc right now due to its bulk and psychic terrain which ignores priority and enables Pokemon like calyrex shadow to do massive damage with expanding force. It also gets follow me which is really important as moves get redirected towards her.
If you have played competitive or seen the top tier list of pokemon, this list doesn't seem to make a lot of sense. I enjoyed the video, but apart from the time when Alakazam just spammed expanding force, it didn't find much use after Regieleki appeared. Apart from that, Metagross with weakness policy never left the competitive, nor did Indeedee female, although it was replaced some time by Tapu Lele, but it still found its niche.
1. Metagross (dynamax+weakness policy🤯) 2. Alakazam(magic guard+life orb) 3. Gardevoir(your choice) 4. Indeedee(psychic surge+psychic seed=💪🏼) 5. Gallade (bulky or justified+ beat up user) 6. Hatterene(Gmax smite is annoying) 7. Galarian slowking(regenerator+fairy check) 8. Meowstic(male w/ prankster) 9. Bronzong(good typing+ good defenses) 10. Malamar (contrary+superpower) I really don’t understand why indeedee wasn’t on the list. It is one of if not the best support Pokémon at the moment. With its hidden ability every time it switches in a psychic terrain appears. Combine this with a psychic seed and it gives it a +1 in it already good special defense. It has access to some amazing support moves like follow me and helping hand. The male version also gets trick room. It also has access to expanding force which now because of its ability is a double targeting move with increased power. You can train it to survive a behemoth blade from zacian! A Pokémon with base 170 attack and it gets a +1 when it enters the battlefield. So that’s some bulk indeede has. And why medicham when gallade is right there?! Even with pure power gallade base attack is higher. It got amazing special defense. It also got access to the elemental punches. Plus swords dance and wide guard. Two moves which are really good in competitive. You can choose to run a bulky gallade with quick en wide quard and feint and close combat or you can use a beat up strategy and can get a quick +4 in attack.
For those people who asking "Why Gallade is not on a list?". Well, unfortunately, that's because Gallade sucks. Its PU in Gen 8 and there's a lot reasons why. And yeah, Gallade were always just a worse Medicham competitively wise. No offense on Gallade fans, but that's just a sad truth. And I actually glad that Gothitelle is on a list, even on a fifth spot. She were always overlooked competitively wise, especially for those who have poor knowledge about Competitive Pokémon.

@@benjaminhoeckel7590 "Even with pure power gallade base attack is higher." Same nature, with no investment(but perfect IVs): Medicham: 156*2(Pure Power)= 312 Gallade: 286 Nope, not even that close. Now with investment(252 attack EVs, Perfect IVs, and an attack boosting nature....) Medicham: 240*2=480. Pure Power causes the total stat to be the equivalent of 169 Base Atk. Even Mega-Gallade doesn't hit as hard as regular Medicham. Gallade: 383 Mega Gallade: 471 And for funsies, here's Mega-Medicham: 646 Medicham absolutely blows gallade out of the water in term of pure striking power.
Well you’re not wrong. Never knew it worked that way. But still I believe gallade is the better choice. It has a higher base stat total. It only has lower defense that medicham. And it got so much more coverage. And with medicham you’re always have to rely on pure power. With gallade you can use it as a support Pokémon. At least I did it and I surprised a lot of trainers in competitive. And don’t get me wrong it get some good coverage but most of the time it’s just Zen headbutt High jumpkick Elemental punch Protect
If you never play with legendaries this entire series is alot easier..but.. people tend to go after what is already op. Also...where is reuniclus? It's basically the psychic equivalent of clefable..even has magic guard...it easily gets more play time than hatterene. Mostly because it's higher move pool.
ruiniculus outclasses pretty much 60% of this list competitively magic guard is amazing and has a great bulk and movepool and hits like a truck but agree about the list as for gothitelle it is the shadow tag ability which makes it OP in singles

Also... Where is Delphox????
Jynx is not fast, she’s slow af
@@kevinmiranda1341 Is 95 speed for a regular Pokémon slow af? 🤷🏻
Gothitelle has 65
Both Slowbro and Galarian slowking have 30
Gardevoir and Medicham have 80
Metagross 70
Bronzong 33
Haterenne 29
And you're telling me Jynx is slow?
I can get why you don't like it as a Pokémon but it's one of the fastest non legendary psychic types and can make much damage with 115 sp. atk!
i hope ur joking mate LUL
@@_george_jorge2067 95 is just decently fast, it's not "so fast"..
@@franz009franz Speed is sometimes irrelevant if it does not back up with many other higher stats. Like Beheeyem that has both very high sp atk and sp def.
Im glad to know my favourite pokemon is the strongest of its type!
Now that Scarlet/Violet have been out for a while, how does Armarouge compare?
Yeah I’m pretty sure which 2 pokemons are going to dominate (yeah considering gardevoir is basically the best non-legendary fairy and alakazam is basically a pure psychic alternative)
I’m almost offended Gallade isn’t on the list but Medicham is
Dope video
I'm curious what criteria that you use to determine these rankings
Indeed. Gallade was excluded. Metagross out of top 5. Malamar had no mention. Indeedee is competitive staple as a non-legendary terrain setter with the all powerful Expanding Force. Also immune to ghost.
Mark my words; when Gen 9 gets released, Armarouge will be in the top 10.
The fact that I knew Alakazam would be number one before I even clicked on the video is hilarious 😂.
People are talking bout Orbeetle, Espeon, etc, but I would have liked Gallade to be on the list. Not in the top 5, but it still has potential
A top dual types list with no legendaries would be cool.
We should probably start doing the Steel-type next!
I would like to see the best of each stater. From all the generations. Best fire, grass and water types.
How come galarian slowbro wasn't on the list?
A trick room mon on a mystic umbreon list? Im shocked.
Still hope to see my buggy Bug type buddies up next!
The fact that my Boy Reuninclus wasnt on here is a travesty IMO
I'm so surprised that espeon is not on the list
Flying should be next because it will be greatly effected by no legendaries
1. Metagross (dynamax+weakness policy🤯)
2. Alakazam(magic guard+life orb)
3. Gardevoir(your choice)
4. Indeedee(psychic surge+psychic seed=💪🏼)
5. Gallade (bulky or justified+ beat up user)
6. Hatterene(Gmax smite is annoying)
7. Galarian slowking(regenerator+fairy check)
8. Meowstic(male w/ prankster)
9. Bronzong(good typing+ good defenses)
10. Malamar (contrary+superpower)
I really don’t understand why indeedee wasn’t on the list.
I genuinely don't know how Medicham is better than Gallade. Nearly all of Gallade's stats are higher than Medicham's

@@benjaminhoeckel7590 "Even with pure power gallade base attack is higher."
Same nature, with no investment(but perfect IVs):
Medicham: 156*2(Pure Power)= 312
Gallade: 286
Nope, not even that close.
Now with investment(252 attack EVs, Perfect IVs, and an attack boosting nature....)
Medicham: 240*2=480. Pure Power causes the total stat to be the equivalent of 169 Base Atk. Even Mega-Gallade doesn't hit as hard as regular Medicham.
Gallade: 383
Mega Gallade: 471
And for funsies, here's Mega-Medicham: 646
Medicham absolutely blows gallade out of the water in term of pure striking power.
And don’t get me wrong it get some good coverage but most of the time it’s just
Zen headbutt
High jumpkick
Elemental punch
Protect
I'm surprised Espeon didn't make the cut. Great sweeper, good movepool, decent ability. But then again, Metagross didn't hit the Top 5, so yeah....
I was not expecting alakazam to be on this list at all
I don't like legendaries, used too but they don't feel legendary anymore
So medicham yes and gallade no? That's the only switch I would have made since it's also a glass cannon but a lot stronger.
If you never play with legendaries this entire series is alot easier..but.. people tend to go after what is already op. Also...where is reuniclus? It's basically the psychic equivalent of clefable..even has magic guard...it easily gets more play time than hatterene. Mostly because it's higher move pool.
Gallade didn’t even make the list???
Starmie the original Rapid Spinner
It’s disappointing that Gallade isn’t on this list
ruiniculus outclasses pretty much 60% of this list competitively
magic guard is amazing and has a great bulk and movepool and hits like a truck
but agree about the list
as for gothitelle it is the shadow tag ability which makes it OP in singles
Continue with this series
Best girl Sabrina’s Signature Pokémon 🌚
Reuniclus?
He has no brain, reuniclus is better than gothitelle
do water or dark next pls
I want the next top 10 strongest type(non-legendary) is dark type or fairy type
