This is a great tune! It sounds like Digger might finally make a return with a strong album - I hope the rest is as good, if not better! It's awesome to see there's still fire in a legendary band.
I'm a little critical of the fact that Grave Digger of the last few years always have songs that start fast and then slow down, it always gives an impression that the "battery is low", this song reminded me a little of Fear of the Living Dead in the structure , but at least this song saw a little more variation work and different moods, but I miss the really fast songs that start and end fast like "The Reaper", "Shadowmaker", "Pendragon" etc... I hope there is some like that on the new album. But it seems to me that the band will make a good record like the previous one.
I felt the same way. The songs would get you fired up at the beginning and then just plod along when the vocal start. Would love a fast Grave Digger song again.
When Grave Digger decide to make a rapid shootout of a song like pendragon and Warchild once again, I will be a little happier but I like this song nevertheless
@@Macrosac This trend seems to have started in "Clash of the Gods" in the song "Walls of Sorrow", well so far so good, a song that starts fast and then slows down, the problem is that it became a constant, after that we already had: Resurrection Day // When Night Falls // Fear of the Living Dead // When Death Passes By // What War Left Behind // Insane Pain // and now King of the Kings. In "Fields of Blood" they had released songs like "All for the Kingdom", "Freedom" and "Gathering of the Clans" that returned to the old and good sound faster than we know from Grave Digger, but I believe that on the new album they returned with previous practice.
I love them with all my own...bit I saw live One month ago in Italy...95% of the show was mid tempos or slow songs...about the same at the rockhard festival...honestly....NOT GOOD!!!!😢😢😢😢😢
@@blindg7092 Sexcalibur, hahahahahahaha. Good one I think that Rheingold was Grave Digger's last truly great album. They have been going through the motions ever since and Symbol of Eternity did not change that.
Since guitarist Axel Ritt has left the band, who will be Grave Digger's new guitarist? Many think it will be Tobias "Tobi" Kersting (ex-Orden Ogan) who recently recorded Boltendahl's solo album. I think he's a good guitarist, especially in Orden Ogan, but I don't know what he would be like in Grave Digger's style of music. A guy who isn't very well known and I think would work would be David Hofmann who was the guitarist for Capricorn in the 90s, the band where they met Stefan Arnold. His style would fit like a glove in the band, but I don't even know if he still plays guitar since he's been out of the spotlight for years.
Good song. Standard Grave Digger. Not a fan of how the guitar sounds though. Axel always had a really good crunch to his sound, but this sounds like more of a buzz.
GRAVE DIGGER, Kings of Heavy Metal forever!!! 🤘
Yeah brother😁
I really liked Grave Digger in 2003/04!
Without Chris Boltendahl singing such things as 'blood falls from the sky' and 'protect us from evil' my life would be lacking something.
Lmao!!
Another great song; Grave Digger has never let me down, they are always faithful and tenacious to the classic metal!
Я их люблю больше всех метал групп!

Yeah😲😲😲
Damn, this stuff is awesome!
Great Chorus.Amazing Song!!!
It sounds exactly like that of Lionheart. Does it ring a bell?
@@blindg7092 Most of the album blatantly rips of the Middle Ages trilogy, especially Knights of the Cross. Disappointing.
@@BlindBosnian Well, if next album is Sexcalibur part 2, it will complete the circle.

Sensacional!!!!

Knight of the Cross 2
prefiro o álbum Tunes Of War do que o Knights of the Cross.
Spread you wings King of The kings?
Lionheart 2…?
This album will be a sequel to "Knights of the Cross", so yeah!
Grave fucking Digger is back!!!
Rythm GUitar sound is awaful. Fortunatelly I got over it and could enjoy the whole song.
The rhythm guitar sound is absolutely horrible 😬 And overall the mix is a bit weak.
Carbon copy of Lionheart. Lol.
#schade
Schubst mich in keinster Weise von der Couch.
Bridge is weak, chorus is nothing special...c'mon guys, you can do better! Hopefully album will kick ass....
awesome
