I can remember when you thought that you talked too much. Thanks for not paying attention to yourself. I always enjoy listening to you. It's always calming and appreciated...
What a class that was both of you, August does talk a lot, lol, but every word that Discribe's an action, when that action is done ,does exactly as august said it would do. Total expert's both of you ..
That was a great monkey beaver episode with the boys fighting. Love that scene where August closes the safe like Scrooge McDuck with cash busting out the seems😂
Just something about August falling trees, or what's left of them, that grabs my attention and doesn't let go. Another fantastic example of cool, calm and collected.
I must be a hardcore viewer since I almost enjoy the ride, discussion and mental prep for the job than I do the work. Didn’t see no cups of coffee during the ride or the asking of one more cup before getting out of the truck. Carrying everything is a good groundsman. Back in the day when I was still working, I always climbed just so I didn’t have to do anything else. Just walk from stick to stick and wait for the rest of the guys to get the cable to the pole, climb up, perform my work then back down and off to the next and wait some more. Wonder if the customer or the neighbors question the sanity of the guy in the tree as they hear him babbling about who knows what at deadly heights in the tree. Can hear them now. Honey? Yeah. Where did you find the guys trimming our trees? Off of Craigslist, why? He’s in the tree talking to himself about hammering something, and the guy on the ground is walking in circles talking about the guy in the tree talking to himself.
Thank you for the wonderful content as always! Such a pleasure to watch you and Damien smiling so big playing rock paper first thing, he's such a good laugh. So cheerful it made me smile big as always, and Damien pointing out all the talking to yourself(us!) Hilarious!
I must be a die hard because I enjoy the videos and the lessons we don’t have trees like that in southern Illinois but I still love watching and learning looking forward to seeing you guys in St. Louis
I had severe tennis elbow for a year. I went to a climbing specialized physiotherapist, spoke to him on zoom and within a month I went from severe pain from opening my fridge to back to work. Tendons need re strengthened through static load exercises.
AUGUST, I don’t know shine about tree cutting however” I sure enjoy watching your videos… I get something out of each and everyone of them..!! Thank you for the entertainment and expertise friend….!!!!!
College Professor giving a tutorial on tree feeling 101 by a Master !!! Your voice seems very calm when your close to the clouds hanging on a thin stick.
I like when you talk a lot. The conversation is full of information. Small tops small problems less pole dancing. Same as small stick small problems, a short stick is easy to fit. Thanks August.
Outstanding tutorial! The perfect tree for me to study, one of my first tasks is a very similar but slightly smaller pine which needs to come down. I just ordered a Monkey Beaver 1.0 today and already have a tracking #. I spoke with Katy today she was very nice and answered all my questions. You are a fine teacher Sir, Blessings. BTW, speaking of hitting the mark, my uncle used to have me walk out about 10 to 20 paces and put a stick in the ground then tell me to drive it in with the tree. He too was a great teacher.... I miss him very much.
The first climb, you’ll find yourself leaning back and driving your spurs forward and down out of fear. Stand up on your spurs, trusting boyweight alone to drive them in. Bring your hips in close, and hold onto the flip line with both hands right where it meets the trunk. Your lower back will thank you.
Thanks, I don't expect I'll be a nervous climber, I've rappelled, climbed walls, zip lined and flown small planes. The higher I get the more I like the view. The first thing I'm going to do is throw a flip line around the tree and dance around on the spurs to find out what they will or will not tolerate, I think I will then find my comfortable spot. Never-the less, excellent advise and I do appreciate it very much. BTW I took a look at your channel, nice Tanfoglio! I'm a machinist and shooter too.@@WildAcresFarms
Remember the days you despised the teacher approach. As we get older we think about things differently. I personally enjoy the thorough walk through the process. It does kinda get hard not to show off but as you should. You’ve always had it but now people and kids who haven’t the slightest idea are entertained and think about these things that otherwise would go unnoticed. You’re a stud dude, keep doing what you’re doing it’s a nice way of showing this industry in a positive different light. I think it’s needed, stop and think. Have a little fun, goof off with your guys when the majority just miss that part. 🙏👍🤔😎👏
Elbows - buggers of things. Get an Armaid. Awesome, relieves the muscles and takes pressure off the tendons. A climber's best friend. Cheers from downunder. PP
I like the shoving of the top and chunks to get a good trajectory. Of course nice shwoosh too. I'll have to make sure I keep that in mind to practice. Thanks.
Seeing the greasy hair slicked back "Bottom Line August" always gives me a hardy chuckle. I noticed that you haven't been choking off with just the rope wrapped around the tree with a carabiner touching the spline to the tree , without the carabiner connected to the Zig-Zag itself, is there a reason for that? Also the both of you discussing the hinge was extremly helpful. Thank you both for your time and effort.
55:44 I felt my first tree yesterday and somehow just by learning of of TH-cam I managed to get it exactly where I wanted it, it was a pretty small tree though so not a lot could have gone wrong. It was about 3-4.5 meters and 6-7cm wide but the feeling you get when felling your first tree exactly where you want it was sooooo nice. Ok have to work on getting good notches tho, do you have any videos on then or are planning to make a video on how to make a proper notch???
I really like your instructional (guided ?) videos. Id guess there are as many non-professional viewers as pro's watching. We all cant depend on you and other arborist's to drop trees on personal property but I feel confident the knowledge I get from your channel is top notch with a ton of experience behind it, thanks to all of you.
great video , you always amaze me with the technology in steering a tree in almost the opposite way it really wants to go , that was perfection its self
Still waiting to see the green truck back on scene handling the get in get out with minimal man power approach. Another great video, threading the needle is always the money shot.
Any idea how to get a 1/4 setup on the Milwaukee saw? The sprocket is kind of funky an I'm not sure what bar mount it is. Cool video as per usual guys!
Found and ate the first oyster mushrooms of the year today... growing on tan oaks that came down last year due to sudden oak death. Took down another two big ones today that succumbed over the summer.
When you’re moving a static object without help from elsewhere, it requires greater force. So a little nudge doesn’t matter so much. But if the object is already moving, especially in the same general direction, even a little nudge will allow the object to deviate from the desired direct of movement. So either eliminate any nudging and or get the object moving quick enough or hard enough, so that when the nudging takes place. There’s enough weight and momentum to carry the object along the desired path. And create as much leeway into action as is possible, before initiating said action. I’d say you’re not only doing all this already. But also understanding the mechanics of it. Note. Think I overdid the word ‘nudge’ and variation thereof.
Mr.Hunicke, I have noticed you shutting the battery off more so now. I can understand the reasoning, would the saw be just that bit faster to use if the switch was a on/off switch, not a button?
august just be getting so technical that he is just making up gibberish about what hes doing, its trying to hunt me" apexing" quadralaterals" bro does a special cut and is like thats a flim flam

Love the balance of humour, tree cutting insight, and general life insight. Appreciate what you guys do.
When you steer a tree like that, it's like you never miss. Incredible!
Just something about August falling trees, or what's left of them, that grabs my attention and doesn't let go. Another fantastic example of cool, calm and collected.
"Looks like I'll be making 2 face cuts" 😂💀 The spoof was hilarious!
you guys make it look so easy to drop a tree against thee lean.
Best feeling is when the customer smiles and shakes your hand. Many referrals to come.😁

You lack the chemical in your brain that produces FEAR! 😂
I get scared above 20 feet in my tree stand.
Love the videos!
A masterclass in tree felling and team work. Superb.
Thanks for the class Dr. - your classes are much appreciated👍👍🙂! And you are BOTH EPIC TEACHERS!

🌲❤️ August, your editing

are a joy to watch.
Love The Schroedenator 💪
August whatever you want to do is just fine with me,I enjoy every moment with your superior tree work.

Beautiful, and thank you again!
I like when you talk a lot. The conversation is full of information. Small tops small problems less pole dancing. Same as small stick small problems, a short stick is easy to fit. Thanks August.
My teacher told me once, the smaller the piece you cut, the better. Glad someone like August is saying the same.

also August if you get promlem with the charger, dont want to charge, typically it is the cable to the fan that has fallen out. Easy to put back in

Yeah, I remember some the videos I first watched - would have been last year. Natural though, as you get older, to want to teach a bit of your trade.
A great Disastrous the Dead6 from old Pinien and other Conifers! Your make always a very good work by the Cutting. 💪👍
Elbows - buggers of things. Get an Armaid. Awesome, relieves the muscles and takes pressure off the tendons. A climber's best friend. Cheers from downunder. PP
Hi August , Damien love you when smiling good work have a good day (ty Ron )
Its funny because those people will walk across a dry 4x4 or something similar but wont climb to the top of a green, live tree
Even those who know need a refresher sometimes, great explanations and top job both of you 👍🇬🇧
🌲❤️💫 Awesome video
Brought back some cool memories
for me and of your videos.
Glad the battery is working 👍
You both are epic 😎
MonkeyBeaver rocks
Another great vid thanx or all the input especially on the final cut!!!
Thanks to the two of you for such great instruction!
Always enjoy the flashbacks.
Damien, you’re an awesome wing man!!
That was a long ways up. I was scared. Nice job moving that leaner too, wow.
9:38 LOL! Yeah, nothing like it on a chilly morning!
He does talk a lot does August. But we love it, hearing the thoughts and processes. I hear ya tho, have to be quiet!!!
haha keep up the good work guys
Thanks for another fun filled episode of rock paper scissors and knowledge! Appreciate you August and Damien too!!
Love you Hunicke!!! Nice work! Climb safe!!
You amaze me August lovely work 👌
I really like the laid-back vibe of this video! You guys are a trip. It makes me want to come there and cut trees with y’all 😊
That stump was a work of art!
Very Good! Always love your treework, A++++++++++ Once Again 💯
August smashing the safe door closed!!😂😂
Yes, another job well done...with the tree and the video.
Enjoyed the video Excellent chatter. Love Damian's perspective. Yes, all good!
Thanks for the tip about the elbow stretch mine has been bothering me this week also lol
Very cool stem drop.
Damian added thrilling ground footage as well.
The MAKING WORK FUN EXPERTS...August and Damian! 👏 ❤🐒🦫
It's always very pleasant to see you work methodology is admirable👍.Grazie
I like the shoving of the top and chunks to get a good trajectory. Of course nice shwoosh too. I'll have to make sure I keep that in mind to practice. Thanks.
Epic sticker placement. Love it ❤ Awesome meeting you guys this week.
The smiling, happy, pleased customer summed it up perfectly! 👍👍

No reason. Thanks

Best commentary duo in awhile. 😂 keeping it real boys
Nice job ! Have fun in St. Louis, sorry I couldn't be there also.
Glad your battery works!! 🎉
Can we all just take a second to appreciate the line "looks like I'm going to be making TWO face cuts today!"
Great video! Master of the Laws of Physics!❤❤❤
great video , you always amaze me with the technology in steering a tree in almost the opposite way it really wants to go , that was perfection its self
Bro. I just thought of something. "A tree falling simulator." If it had detailed physics and accurate wood specs itd be awesome
Instructive vid…very nice. 👍 As an aside, where’s Adam?….did I miss something?
Educational content.
I’m amazed at your skills and how convenient it is to get out of the office and work from your sky high classroom.
Another job, Well Done! 👍😉
My boss just saved the day last week with a bit of percussive maintainence on our crane starter😂
One of your best August (and Damien), but I think that just about every time. Have you any idea how much adrenalin you generate this end of the wire?!
I hang iron for a living I get your mo and it's awesome brother you are the man lots of skill
Great video!
homeowner hinge 10/10 😂 didn’t cut through it and he tried 😂 at least he left a hinge at all
Correct reminder D, falling and climbing the two man safety rule.
Nice job great words

Rate the homeowner's hinge, eh? I always lop the top of the stump off when I'm done to hide the evidence. '-)
Good job
Diehard style....love it! Someone should have probably told Damien not to eat the mushrooms. Enjoy TCIA!

Need a challenge. Up n down trees. Over a house winding angofra. Thanks fullus
Good job.
I find this kinda work interesting
We haven’t heard much about your flying lately? Did you finish your training?
Not yet
Good job good skills
Damien, have you asked Mrs.Hunicke if August talks in his sleep also? 😊
He does
What’s the weight of your throw ball?
That was way cool!
I'm trying to negate your inertia on TH-cam. 👺
JK! Thanks for the teachings August.
Just having fun 😉
Mr.Hunicke, I have noticed you shutting the battery off more so now. I can understand the reasoning, would the saw be just that bit faster to use if the switch was a on/off switch, not a button?
Perhaps so
I want that as a T-Shirt "I negated the inertia, by shoving on the butt" 😅
travel safe and well see yall at tci
Erm I thought the groundy was meant to stand, face in phone mode the whole time, with little regard for what’s going on aloft? 🤣🤔
9:43 ha ha ha🤣🤣🤣…yep.
Adem banget tempat tebang pohon nya , 😮
Bam! Shout out to Jeff Schroeder axes!!❤❤❤
