I live in Kansas City...not to my liking. That said, I am and always will be a Bears Fan. Poles, being from KC is building DA Bears franchise from the same blueprint the Chiefs are built on. Draft young talent and develop them in the system. I see good thing for our Bears for many years to come.

They went 500 without fields. They coulda made the playoffs if they didn't blow them 3 double digit 4 quarter leads. Which fields was partly responsible for. His 4 quarter stats are terrible. Worst in the league in several categories

Fields getting hurt didn't effect the record...negatively. The entire secondary yes

What I don't. Like didn't they say they want to build 😮 team from the draft. All they really did was go out and trade for older players from other teams.they have only drafted six players that are on the team

so in two seasons the team should just be filled with drafted two year players bro?

Mostly they do want to do that. Doesn’t mean they shouldn’t have gone out and gotten Allen. Or DJ. Or traded for Sweat which greatly elevated the defense. The core of the team they’d want coming through the draft. They haven’t had much draft picks in terms of quantity, though quality is absolutely there. They have loads of draft picks next year as well. They made those trades to give CW a phenomenal team go start his career with and get off developing on the right foot. And didn’t give up much draft capital to do it. Bears are mostly pretty young, and the vets they did go get are quality vets on friendly deals.

Yeah....just wait until the USC quarterback history in the NFL bites them in the ass.
3 of the 19 USC quarterbacks drafted in the last 70 years have been even moderately successful.
    And most were college studs.
One, Pat Haden for the Rams made it into the HOF.
How? I'm not sure because in 6 NFL seasons he averaged 8.6 TD's or .6 TD's a game. That's not even a good backup stat.
And really? HOF for playing 6 seasons?
So, it's not whether Caleb Williams has someone to throw to it's whether the reveivers have someone to throw to them.

Who fucking cares about a college’s QB history? Michigan doesn’t exactly have a shining record of sending QBs to the pros yet they produced Tom Brady. Texas Tech gave the NFL Mahomes and has other wise not given much. Caleb is a talented QB and has 3 WR1s, a talented TE, and a solid OC. How a college has historically done sending QBs to the pros has absolutely nothing to do with the individual player. It’s the best possible situation for Caleb and for the Bears. They’re set up for a lot of success. Whether that happens is up to Caleb and Shane Waldron. That’s all that matters.

Same exact conversations were being had last year about Ohio State.
