    The music of Evang Akin Adebayo has been a blessing to my life. I traveled out of Nigeria in 1988 with 3 of his albums Wale Masunlo, Figbayemi, and Ona Ara (cassette). Up till today, this music is still part of my spiritual journey with God. They remind me of God whenever I am going astray and lift me up during dark times. Imole Ayo, May God continue to be your light. I am grateful to God for your talent.

    Cele dominated 70s, 80s, until RCCG took over from mid 90s. Cele brought music to church.

      We need the old C & S , CAC , CCC , Baptist and more . So that the lost young ones can come back into church .

    Baba Imole Ayo is very humble.
    I once invited him to our church in Johannesburg , South Africa and he did not hesitate to worship with us .
    He is ever looking young.

    My late Dad's favorite artist of all times we grew up with his music in our house, my father sleeps and wakes up with Mr Akin Adebayo's whole album ❤❤❤....his music influenced us till date ❤.....late Bayo Adegboyega was also a great gospel artist of all times ❤❤

    Ona ara is Baba Imole Ayo best album for me. I grew up listening to Baba. My Father travelled out of the country with his album. Till date, I still cherish his Song. May God keep him

    I give glory to God for the life of Pastor Imole Ayo. His music inspired me when I was in secondary school in the 70s and still does inspire me till date. I memorised most of his songs. The songs are inspirational. May God spare him for long.

    My question for Evg Akin Adebayo is this. On Apple Music you can’t find his albums. Just a handful of songs. Why are they not taking advantage of the opportunities to expand their reach and music. A lot of them are going to fade away after their death if they don’t step up their works on platforms

    I have watched almost all your interviews but this one got me the most. That “Wale o wale o” album remains the most underrated gospel album in the 80s and 90s. I think baba needs to remake that album. More grease to your elbow Agbaletu

    I had always thought Akin Adebayo was a CAC singer cos his songs were not like CCC.
    My mum would always play his songs when we were very little. I love ONA ARA more than any other albums he did.

    Omo Igala Wale by C& S Surulere Choir Ayo Ni was released on December 1981.
    Also all the Surulere Choir members we all attend C & S Surulere Church not Celestial Church. Thanks.

      Look at you, most of musicians in Nigeria especially living SW played in Cele one or the other in 70s, 80s to mid 90s. CCC was the Palace of music. Any if anything Ayo ni sang Cele style of music and not normal C&S.

    Imole Ayo sang at my Aunty's 40th birthday 37 years ago in Ilorin...I can sing effortlessly any of his albums...His gospel songs still remain my favorite

    I used to know this guy many years ago when he used to come and play in church then, CCC Estate parish, but he used to be very light in complexion then. Was he bleaching his skin then?
