We need to research more about our Gotama Samana Buddhun as evidence points more towards Sri Lanka than India & Nepal. All these places were maped in India by the British during the colonial times. They used our history books like the "Mahavansa" & many more Ola leaf scriptures written by our ancestors (I wonder why our ancestors wrote something that was in Bharath India). Another mistake the Britishers made was that they thought Lankadeepa or Lakdiva was the whole of Sri Lanka but to my knowledge it's actually the Southeastern part of Sri lanka. Dambadiva is a place in Sri Lanka it's marked on our old maps, Ola leaf scriptures & mentioned in so many books by foreign authors.
