If the athletes are not good enough then the blame should go to the organisers for choosing them. I disagree with this woman, sports are poorly run in this country.

It is a pity that pity can't pity what pity can pity...

No we are not dancing (reggae). We consider 6 medals an under achievement. There is serious introspection, an objective look at our athletic administration.

The analysis by Madam Ogunkoya is warped and obtuse. How can you say Ofili was not enlisted by the Athletics Federation of Nigeria in 100m race because they want to let her rest and give her more energy to run 200m after training for several months?
What kind of logic is that? Bolt competed and won gold in both 100m and 200m in 3 Olympics. Why did his federation not enlist him in 100m so he could rest? Come on..

Imagine the first question of the presenters! Insinuating that the athletes weren't patriotic! Shame

Not impressed by Falilat’s analysis. Funke is much better at giving a balanced analysis and solution

Yeah Falilat isn't a good analyst unfortunately, that said she did raise a valid point about the athletes though after all said and done fire in your stomach and sheer ambition should equally propel you to making a name for yourself, this is however not exonerating the jokers in the sport associations/ministry.

I'm truly disappointed in her analysis. The athletes have done their best and have their own respective coaches especially those not based in Nigeria. I don't think they will just leave their coaches advices who have been training them just like that..
