I was expecting a long tutorial with flat irons and hair gel but it was hilarious how you just rub your hair vigorously (which I find comical) in circular motions to easily get the desired hairstyle
Well that's because it doesn't work. Just tried it, got my hair cut the way it has to be for a style like this and tried it. With even stronger stuff.

@@MrDusRam Hair type.... When you see something work for someone and it doesn't work on you, it's because hair types are real and people go through life pretending everyone's hair is the same. Ask a professional stylist what ~will~ work for your hair. I saw this and I immediately could tell that is not my hair type and won't even bother trying it because I know my hair doesn't respond like his.

Ok now for everyone who wants to have a hair like this, you got to know what your up against. I have a crazy spiky hair like this for almost a year.
Everyone in the streets will stare at you like you are an alien or something, and peoples will ask you questions like:how much time does it takes to do? Or: do you work one hour on every spike?
Also most of the people's don't like that and will tel you to stop making a hair like that. Or: you looks way better without it.
This hair will give you a hard life, but who care! I love it! And that's what's important!!!

Looks really good. I did try this several times before watching this, but still no sucsess. My hair must be to strong and is refusing to look like this
same, next time ill put shitloads of air conditioner first maybe that will soften it enough
go to a hair stylist first. get it styled because it will make your hair easier to make/look better. When it is styled you can mess up this style and it will still look good. If its not styled and you make this almost perfect it wont look good just cause it isnt styled.

I know this is an old post but the reason he's able to do it is cause he gets thin hair people with thicker hair need a better hold. His hair is gonna get even thiner when he's older so be happy you got thick hair lol even though it's harder to manage styles cause of that.

This video helped a lot for me, Thanks, I bought the wax and it took me a while to figure out exactly how much I needed to use and the technique, but I can get my hair so much like this, Obviously his looks better than mine because its thicker. I don't really have a pic to show it. For anyone with curly hair, If you didn't already know, Straightening it helps a lot. Get a decent straightener (Flat iron), The correct product (Off amazon or ebay) and practice.

I personaly think Id titanium is a way better to do this style, and the finish is matt/dusty and with extreme cream its more sticky and shiny.

Starraya try to straighten your hair first. I can get my hair into a fauxhawk at 4inches by using a straightener. to style it I use gatsby tho

I have asian hair that isnt fully straight when its longer it gets slightly wavy so I gotta straighten it. When u straighten ur hair its also easier to style.Also Remember to use heat protection

I can tell you that this type of wax is water soluble and is easy out with hot water and shampoo.

Just ask for a shorter at the sides, and little longer in the back and longest at the top and then get it thnned down.

another good product to make your hair nice and spikey is hair spray from paul mitchel. works great.
I have soft hair so I can style it but it's wavy (not curly) so it won't really stick up in a spike. If I were to straighten it first then apply the ID Titanium would it stay straight? I'm going to AWA this year and would need a hairstyle like this for my cosplay character.

I would like someone to give me some advice. For spikes, and especially mega spikes, do you want to straighten, texture, or thin your hair? I have straight hair, but it is very thick, and I feel that it is hard to get volume out of it due to the weight. But maybe am I wrong? Is it better to have thick hair for this? @kingjollysanta there tryin to show that you dont have to be asian to uptain this style and asian people do anime to much. this is a good video for people with thick hair or wavy. no.1 use flat iron no.2 use wax or clay never gel.... im asian nd have wavy hair these instructions help alot.
