Pranjalji, I wish I had such guidance when I started investing. I live in a small place town , where people looked at me with scorn when I bought my first stock Reliance industries in physical form, in year 2000. It was around 114/- per share. There was no demat as per my knowledge. Then I opened demat a/c in 2005 when we got internet in our town. Till that time I had a good portfolio. Online I bought SBI first. I have used same strategy which you mentioned in this video. Now I am 62 and still I invest 20% every year in some out of the way stocks and it pays , though I don't know how to study stocks. Thanks a lot.

I agree to your point Pranjal. But in the current market scenario I could find lot of quality stocks corrected heavily. And also I could see lot of cyclic trends (within a month 10 % up and 5 % negative) in most of these quality stocks. In this volatile market using cyclic investment strategy recovered most of my losses than investing in one stock for more than 1 month. The case of Yes Bank is one of the success story but there are stocks which didn't follow this upward movement like Tata motors, DHFL etc.

check out ujjivan bank on money control..I am studying its business model..believe me it's going to be a next big thing in India banking channel..
It is best to invest in a mix of PPF, EPF, stocks, FDs and bonds. Even in stocks invest a part in established stocks and balance in risky stocks. Also invest in stocks of different sectors. This way, you will get a decent returns and even create wealth over time.
