I am still using 2nd generation airpods (Had bought from OLX 4 years ago). It is still playing as good as it was when i had bought. Apple's build quality is something else.

It is still very good. e.g I can watch full movie of 3 hours without any issues. I listen to podcase everyday for 30 to 35 minutes and i charge my case every 3rd or 4th day

Adaptive feature is really good. Others are comedy. Means who listens music when he/she wants to talk. I like technology. But Apple is now in another world. Apple watches are really amazing. Practically perfect.

i just confirmed the lossless feature with an apple executive on apple's website and inquired if there is really a lossless feature included with the incoming USB C version of the airpods pro 2nd gen, and they bluntly replied that these are just rumors and do not rely on this. The only difference between the new airpods pro 2nd gen (USB C) and the airpods pro 2nd gen (lightening) is only of the charging port and reverse charging capability.
Rest all features as you mentioned are not restricted to the USB C model. As these new features are updated to lightning model with iOS 17 upgrade.
And both have H2 chip inside, so no difference there as well.
Only 2 differences that remain (in nutshell) -
1. Type C instead of Lightening.
2. IP54 rating upgradation. (i.e. added protection from Dust also now).
