To be fair they did reuse the joker animatronic from justice league battle from metropolis ride at six flags parks in this one, so that wouldn’t be bad of an idea

Maverick is 16 years old and it was peak coaster design and technology back then. They couldn't make it like this ride. If they built maverick today it would probably be similar to this.

Does this park allow GoPros on-ride? Or do you need to contact the media team to get permission
they dont give you any permission. The only way to film it is... hide the camera
