Re; the Chloe bag. The clasp was never gold, it was silver when you bought it! One of the features of the bag is the contrasting gold and silver hardware. I have the black one and its held up SO well. Pale colour Chloe bags make me so anxious, the suede never holds up well!!

I think this demonstrate that even luxury items fails, I mean, a purse or bag it’s just a purse or bag. And obviously you are gonna use it and, therefore it will show how used the bag is.
I’m so confused. You’re supposed to size down on Gucci, and quite drastically might I say. I usually wear 39 or 40 (UK 7) and I’m 38 in their Italian sizing. So how come did you get your loafers in the almost identical size to the one you usually wear?
I think sentimental value overrides practical use sometimes. I have sneakers that are torn to shreds, but i keep them because i don't want to lose them.

Most designer items are not higher quality than their cheaper counterparts. Usually the extra cost is due to the brand name. There are high quality designer items that are actually made well, but this is sadly a minority of products. Also, remember that anything gold colored that is not actually gold, will eventually start to have the gold coating/plating chip off.
Most of my handbags are LV and I love LV for the quality bc it lasts - although I don't own the full leather pieces that are like 4k, they seem really stiff and heavy
I do not like Chanel bags, LV anything, Gucci shoes. I don't think they are attractive. I really want the Manolo silver open toe show with the buckle. I tried them on and fell in love!

There are companies that will restore the hardware on your handbags. It’s worth considering if the bag has sentimental value. Purserehab in U.S. 👍
