  • Manfred Schockner sees something extraordinary in Lynn-a beautiful young temp at the prestigious Los Angeles aerospace engineering company where he is an executive. Lynn quickly climbs the corporate ladder too-and when they marry, they are unstoppable both in their careers, and in their romantic trajectory into the stratosphere. But underneath their privilege and conspicuous
wealth, there lies a twisted rage that slowly unfurls-and ultimately culminates in a lethal conspiracy.
Dr Stacy Kaiser, a psychotherapist and relationship expert, Dr Brian Russell, a forensic psychologist, explore real-life stories of divorces which have had a deadly aftermath.

The only multi-millionaire I've ever spent significant time with tried to convince my gf to get in a(n unnecessary) wheelchair so we could get in free and first in line at Canada's Parliament building. My gf refused because that's disgusting behavior. She (multi-millionaire) NEVER tipped and I would go running back to tip at these restaurants and then she'd go back and steal this cash. It was exhausting. I'd rather be a decent human than rich.

All rich people are disgustingly stingy and greedy. They count every penny and become very petty and absolutely unbearable. All they talk about is their money and material things nonstop.
The richer they get, the more stingy, prideful and detestable they become.
And they also believe that everybody’s jealous of them! 😆🙄
That’s why they are millionaires and billionaires to begin with! Because money is their god and they become highly narcissistic and sociopathic.
They don’t care about people and don’t value human relationships and lives at all.
They will even kill for money if they have to, evident from the case at hand!
I would rather not be rich and not have friends that are rich, than be so pathetic and self-absorbed, sucked into such repulsive grossness.
It is very embarrassing to even witness that and be around them. These people know not what they do!

I so agree with the brother not approving of the handicap parking & swiping the 5 dollar tip....these acts show one's true self...I learnt from my parents & the Japanese about etiquette & honesty . So glad my husband also thinks like me❤

My sister's husband is like Manfred. We look on in horror a lot of the time the way he treats her. She knows what we think of him and sometimes agrees. However, she's also likely to defend him at times just as Lynn did in this story. It's awful to look on at these situations and feel so helpless. Regarding this story, Lynn's son is soooo lovely and he's lucky to have been 'adopted' by Lynn's brother and his wife as the brother from the start was obviously a nice man.

She should have never went on that holiday with him or accepted the jewellery if she knew she was planning to divorce. That may have angered him more. Also if she just divorced him and kept the house for her and her son, and told him to keep his money, maybe the greedy pig would have spared her life

How are these people so surprised that he killed her because she was taking his money, house and child? People are killed for 100 dollars in some places.
The moment she left him she was not "the mother of his child" anymore...she became an enemy out to rob him using the "legal system".
If she would left without millions of dollars I'm sure she would be alive today.
She didn't just "want her life back"...she wanted his money too...nobody like to be robbed...legally or not.
These shows are so biased it's not even funny.
I don't condone murder but stop saying she is so innocent when she's not.
