Like a lot about how your operations look like ZOOX. I've been running such testing ops myself with a team and this is a good example showing how well prepared work really is like, there in the field. Good luck with your ops! We make our best to build some tools for you guys.
@@george4vIogging if they hike prices, then one of the many other companies doing this exact same thing will swoop in and eat their lunch. Just like how the current car market works.
Love your team. Good group of young educated engineers, scientists, managers, planners.....what other majors are used here to develop this technology? After this model you all must have the next generation of Zoox Transporters. More room and faster, more tech inside and outside (for the riders and advertisers) you'll need to continued funding your progression to new generations of Zoox vehicles.
@@invoker7826 Product Placement! Yes , much like old tires I am biased. I like their Brand and initiatives. Just bought some Continental tires for my mother's car.
They should make a smaller, cheaper version to compete at the mass-market level. 99% of trips are people going alone anyway. And comfort doesn't matter so much either. Just keep me warm and dry and not carsick and I will be happy going from A to B at the lowest cost possible. Something like the SEAT Minimo perhaps.
OOOOhhhh...I would LOVE to test out one of these! San Diego is perfect for this type of vehicle! I may buy an entire fleet of these vehicles. This is definitely the future of transportation!
Avoidance training must use smaller moving vehicles. Bicycles, electric and gas motorized scooters, motorcycles, motorbikes (gas), pedestrians, pets, animals, farm animals and etc.
Sadly, with venture capital involved which is the only way to get into the world at large. An amazing vision such as this will ultimately have to pay dividends to investors and put humans out of jobs. Amazing vision, good luck and I hope this helps, rather than hinder society. I think the former but I'm going to be a supporter, see what happens. What a beautiful diverse team too. Go change the world for the better. ✌🏽❤️
This vehicle is intended to replace the conventional car, i.e., a vehicle that can go anywhere, including freeways. For safety, this requires a heavy, reinforced structure. Electric vehicles should not be heavy. Instead, city centers should be served by a fleet of self-driving, one-person, PLASTIC pod-taxis. No conventional (heavy) cars in the city center. Need to go somewhere? Summon a pod. Want to visit the city? Park on the city's edge and summon a pod. No more parking lots/structures in the city; turning this real estate into housing/offices WOULD PAY FOR THE POD FLEET. The pods would recharge at the pod barn. No new infrastructure needed. Safer city because the pods are too light to do much harm in the unlikely event of an accident
Everything scenario covered. Great track, engineers, testing.
Great work here. This is what a rigorous software design and testing process should look like when lives are at stake.

what if subject is more agressive and simply want to bump into the vehicle , how will you try to ensure the safety of passengers?
I'm looking forward to the day I don't have to own a vehicle anymore
In the areas where this will be you already can.
Yes, but not all around the world.
Im looking forward for the day humans don't have to drive among other crazy human drivers.
Yep. They will capture the market and hike prices.

diversity is pointless

A lot of red flags popping up. Invest at your own risk.

too much diversity nonsense
Sniff, sniff ah the smell of communist in the morning.
Autonomous vehicles are my least favourite tech...but those obsessed with them can proceed to work on them. I just hope my country wont accept them.
