- We spent 4 weeks in the quirky European beach city of Vlore, Albania. Our Airbnb was right on a quiet beach, we were sure to catch the sunset every evening, and we even made some friends with pirates! Tag along with us as we explore some fun parts of town, and catch ourselves staring at the gorgeous sea views of this lovely Albanian Riviera town.

Is Albania dangerous ??
We’ve felt safe everywhere we’ve gone, so generally speaking, it is safe. There can, of course, be danger anywhere you go, but Albanian people have been polite and hospitable. Our tour guide in Tirana told us that in Albania, the tourist is even more safe than the citizen, because of the culture of hospitality. 👍🏼
